Words cannot describe how God has spoken to us this week & we can’t wait to come back & share it with all our volunteers and families. There is something so beautiful about having the opportunity to learn, study, & worship with thousands of others whose hearts are bent towards children & youth ministry. A beautiful Heaven-on-Earth experience. Praise Jesus & Let the Children Come! KidzMatter Conference 2026

Today we talked about ☀️When the Sun Stood Still☀️ in Joshua 10. One of our fantastic teachers, Jamie, suggested reading through Joshua together as a family to show how much more powerful this miracle was for God’s people. Also, to note that this was during the time when Caesar was putting things into motion so it’s worth going into history books to find what Josephus wrote down and see the connections there as well.

CCC Kids are thinking critically & wanting to grasp the gravity of Scripture. We encourage you to dive deeper as a family. And, NO! You’re not gonna have all the answers, and that’s great! Then you can model to them grappling with unknown topics, studying, questioning, & searching out the answers. Together!

This month we are taking a look at the Israelites and when God promised them a land of their own. But the process to find it was not easy because other people lived there. In this series we will explore how God prepared the way for Israel to take over by making a safe passage for spies to enter, making walls crumble so they could conquer a city, and making the sun stand still to give His people the advantage during battle. God fulfilled his promise of providing a home for Israel because He can make a way through anything. He will always keep His word.
