Sin leaves us feeling isolated, but Jesus crosses every barrier to bring us near. In Luke 5:12-16, a man covered in leprosy—someone forced to live as an outcast under the law—approaches Jesus and asks, "Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean."

Instead of backing away to avoid uncleanness, Jesus does the unthinkable: He reaches out, touches the man, and says, "I am willing. Be clean."

That is the power of His forgiveness. No matter what makes you feel distant, disqualified, or unworthy, Jesus doesn't keep you at a distance. He steps into our mess, cleanses our hearts, and brings us close.

Sunday we will wrap up our study on the Ten Commandments.
It is easy to fall into the trap of comparison, but Exodus 20:17 challenges us to live differently. Coveting breeds envy, bitterness, and shifts our focus away from the blessings right in front of us. True peace comes from being deeply content with what God has already given us.
Let’s trade comparison for gratitude today.
