WE HAVE BEEN CORNED. 🌽

Some wonderful people messaged us and asked if we’d like some sweet corn.

I said, “That would be awesome!”

Apparently they heard, “Please deliver enough corn to sustain a small village through winter”, because an hour later they showed up with these two giant bags.

So we have officially been CORNED…and we love it!😁

If anyone needs me, I’ll be on the porch shucking corn and thanking God for good people with generous hearts. I love our church family. ❤️🌽

Friend, don’t rush past this truth today - when God delivers you, you are delivered. He doesn’t set you free so you can keep revisiting what He rescued you from.

He brought those fellas through the fire and they didn’t even smell like smoke. They didn’t look or smell like what they’d been through (Daniel 3).

He called the dead man to walk out of the tomb and to shake off the grave cloths. He was fully breathing and fully alive (John 11).

Don’t camp out by the fire.
Don’t keep returning to the tomb.
Don’t put the grave clothes back on.

Live like you are free because you are.

We’ve had the great pleasure of spending the afternoon in Wilson, North Carolina today. Can I just say that everyone has been incredibly kind.

From the people working in the shops, to folks passing by on the sidewalk, to random conversations with complete strangers… people have been so friendly.

In a world where we hear so much about what’s wrong, it’s refreshing to be reminded that there are still places filled with good people.

Wilson, thank you for the hospitality. You’ve made a great impression on our Tribe.

Now it’s time to enjoy a Wilson Warbirds game.
