Since 1757, Mount Carmel Congregational Church has been a pillar of the Town of Hamden, serving as a testament to our colonial routes and humble beginnings. As the oldest Church in Hamden, we are ever striving to support our community in hearing the Word, living the Word, and sharing the Word of God. We will have another round of three Saturdays of Bible Study on May 23, 30, and June 6 from 10:30-12:00 in the Church Parlor. This time we will be looking at the Psalms, which were the hymns of the Hebrew people. They speak to most any emotion, so we will look at “Songs in a Major Key” (psalms of praise), “Songs in a Minor Key” (psalms of lament), and “Songs in a New Key” (psalms of restoration and hope). Each week will stand on its own, so come for whatever fits your schedule. We hope to see you there!

Join the Mount Carmel Shirts and Skirts for their annual Indoor Picnic, scheduled for Tuesday, May 19 at 5pm! This is a potluck event, so please bring your own picnic supper. Paper goods, desserts, beverages, and entertainment will be provided. Please come and join in for an evening of fun and fellowship.

Per usual, there will be a variety of unique craft and tag tables to choose from, making our tag sale the perfect place to find some ‘Tag Sale Treasures’. For those of you who have purchased a table, drop offs will take place on April 17 at 11am. We hope to see you there!
