The Seventh-day Sabbath is about worship. Here are some ideas for incorporating worship into your Sabbath:
Light candles or play soft music as the sun sets to welcome the Sabbath with peace and beauty.
Begin Sabbath with prayer—thanking God for His blessings and inviting His presence into your home.
Read a favorite Bible passage, Psalm, or devotional together as a family.
Worship with a Sabbath-keeping church.
Share “highs and lows” from the week, ending with praise for how you saw God working.
Spend time in nature to reflect on God’s creation.
Keep a “Sabbath Blessings” journal where you jot down what made each Sabbath special.
Sing your favorite hymns or worship songs together.
Take photos of your Sabbath moments and create a digital or printed “Sabbath Memories” album.
End Sabbath with a short family worship and a prayer of gratitude.
