Today’s service was led by Consistory President, Cindy Adams. She taught about the importance of trusting in God when we are afraid and referred to the story of Jesus calming the seas. The youth were excited to receive blue jello with Jesus standing on top during the children’s sermon to tie into the lesson.

The worship service live stream ends a bit ubruptly, as a medical emergency occurred during the worship service, and following our planned procedure, we ended the live stream and concluded worship in the Auditorium, for the privacy of the patient while EMS attended to them in the sanctuary. The individual is home and doing well; thank you for everyone's prayers and concerns.

On Pentecost, Pastor Ben taught us that when we release our sins, we move closer to God. Jesus encourages us to share his peace. May we offer that same peace and spirit that Christ has offered us to one another and to our world.

We also held a special Memorial Day prayer and Tyler closed the service with “The Battle Hymn of the Republic.”
