Today we remember the 25th anniversary of 9/11 by joining other churches who are ringing our bells at the time of each of the plane crashes. Our thanks to John Schultz, who rang our bell and Alyssa Schultz for sending us the video from our bell tower. God be with us all as we remember this horrific day in our country's history.
As we move forward we remember all those who lost their life that day, and the bravery and compassion of so many that responded to the needs of others. We pray that we would continue to live and work together to be the people God desires us to be... People of compassion, courage, and hope.

As part of our remembrance of the anniversary of 9/11, tomorrow our church bells will toll at the time of each of the 4 plane crashes on that day. We will also have our sanctuary open from 8:30-12:00 for those who wish to come and pray. First UCC in Hamburg is also opening it's sanctuary from 8:00-12:00 tomorrow morning for those who would like to come and pray. As we observe the 25th anniversary of 9/11, we ask for God's presence for us and for our country.

Just a reminder that our worship time changes to 10:15 this Sunday, September 13th. Sunday School begins this week at 9:00.
