This Sunday, we begin a new journey with the prophet Jeremiah called “Far-Sighted Vision.”

And we begin with hands...
The hand of God calling the prophet.
The hands of a potter shaping clay.
The hands of a prophet called to speak.
Hands lifted in prayer.
Hands opened in surrender.
Hands reaching toward one another.
And somewhere among all those hands...
ours!

So come bring your hands, your heart, and your hopes! There's a future still waiting to be shaped by God's hands.

Join us Sunday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Luke!
There's a place for you here.

Methodists know how to feed people… and today, St. Luke proved it!

What a wonderful afternoon of food, fellowship, laughter, and a whole lot of FULL plates around FULL tables.

It has been some time since we’ve gathered for a church-wide potluck, which made today feel all the sweeter. There's something beautiful in sharing a meal and simply enjoy being together.

And judging by these pictures, nobody went hungry!

Thank you to everyone who cooked, baked, brought a dish, set up and cleaned up.

This is church, too: making room, sharing what we have, feeding one another, and discovering again the joy of being together!

We'll make sure it isn’t quite so long before we do this again. Until then, know that there’s a place for you at the table here at St. Luke UMC!

There are some Sundays when the Scripture and the church calendar line up almost too perfectly.

Tomorrow we will hear:
“You prepare a table before me…”
And immediately after worship…
we’re having a POTLUCK!

Join us at 10:30 a.m. as we conclude our Summer in the Psalms with Psalm 23: "A Song for a Lost Lamb."

Then stay for good food and even better company!
Whether you bring a casserole, dessert, bag of chips, or just yourself, there’s a place for you at the table!

Come hungry for grace...
Come hungry for lunch...
You belong here!

Tomorrow is Youth Sunday at St. Luke!
Join us at 10:30 a.m. as our youth lead us in worship and help us hear the story of Saul’s encounter with Jesus in Acts 9 in a fresh way.

It will be a morning filled with youthful voices, meaningful worship, and the reminder that God calls people of every generation...
and God is still calling us today.

Come encourage our youth.
Come listen for God’s voice.
Come ready to worship!

The sign of a good breakfast? An empty table!

This morning, St. Luke had the joy of providing breakfast for the wonderful teachers and staff of Spicer Elementary as they prepare to welcome students back for a new school year!

We are grateful for every teacher, administrator, and staff member who pours so much into the lives of our children. It is a privilege to cheer you on, pray for you, and remind you that your neighbors at St. Luke are in your corner.

Here’s to a great school year, Spicer! 📚✏️🍎
This is what it means to love our neighbors.

Today, our 4th grade mentees at Spicer Elementary turned generosity into action.

After we collected the supplies (tissues, oatmeal, cereal bars, and Jell-O/pudding cups) our students rolled up their sleeves and packed care items for seniors in our community. There was energy in the room, but more than that, there was joy!

What a powerful way to teach the next generation what it means to serve. Because this is how it begins: hands learning to give, hearts learning to care, and a community coming together to make it possible!

Your donations didn’t just meet a need, they helped our mentees become part of something bigger. Your generosity allowed them to serve, and in doing so, they are already learning to pay that service forward!

Christ invites us to serve one another. And this project was a beautiful glimpse of that invitation lived out!

Thank you for being part of this cycle of service. It is making a difference.
