BREAKING NEWS! Our class is now going to have a float in the Richland Hills July 4 parade. If you don’t have plans for the morning of July 4, come join us!

If you want to help set up and decorate the float, please meet us at the Chamberlain’s house at 7am on Thurs. We could use the help since we only have an hour to get it done!

If you want to just ride/walk in the parade, meet us 6642 Baker Blvd, Richland Hills, TX 76118 at 8am.

Our float will be “Summer Pool Party” themed. We will have a couple kiddie pools filled with water. Bring long shot water guns to help us spray and cool the crowd. Kids will ride the float with one parent. We also want to have people walking alongside the float handing out candy and goodies to the crowd.

We had a great time last night at our class’s traveling Christmas party! We visited and sang carols for Wendall Davis, Frank and Carolyn Shelton, and Harvey and Marylou Urban. After that we spent an hour and half traveling around looking at Christmas lights. The Grinch even joined us for a bit! We had a ton of fun all piled in the bus, laughing and visiting.

Reminder about our class event on Saturday (11/11). We will be in the Family Life Center at 4pm. We will play pickleball/games in gym and kids are welcome. Each family needs $10 cash ($5 for singles). We will order pizza. We will also set up the gym for church wide luncheon on Sunday.

ATTENTION CLASS MEMBERS:

Our classmate, Justin Withem, is being ordained as a deacon this Sunday. I thought it would be a nice way for our class to honor and celebrate Justin and Rose by hosting a reception immediately after the ordination ceremony. I have already reserved the space and shared the idea with the Withems.

What can you do to help? Well, I'm glad you asked. 😁

1. We need cookie/brownie. If 6 or 7 people will bring 2 dozen cookies/brownies, we should have enough to serve everyone in attendance.

2. We need people to help set up, work, and clean up the reception. We will set up at 5:00. The ceremony is at 6:00. The reception will be immediately after in the banquet room of the FLC and won't be very long. We should easily be cleaned up and gone by 8pm.

3. We also need our class to show up at the 6pm service to show your support to Justin and Rose.

We had a great turn out today - 32 people! We all gathered to eat LOTS of food, watch Cowboys football, and spend a beautiful afternoon together. I didn't get many pictures because we were having too much fun. 😁

We are blessed to have each one of these wonderful souls in our lives. For those that couldn't make it, we sure missed you.
