🏃‍♂️🔥 PROMISES – RUN RUN! 🔥🏃‍♀️ 📖 A Powerful Message from God’s Word

📖 MAIN SCRIPTURE: JAMES 4:7–8 (ESV)
“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you.”
🔥 GOD HAS PROMISES FOR HIS PEOPLE, BUT ARE WE WILLING TO FOLLOW HIS PLAN?
Sometimes, before we can move forward in God's promises, we must first surrender, stand firm in faith, and humble ourselves before the Lord! 🙌
🏃‍♂️💨 The Christian life is not about running away from God; it's about drawing closer to Him, resisting the enemy, and trusting His perfect will!
Let's dig into this powerful message:
🔹 1️⃣ THERE IS A PREREQUISITE! 🙏
📖 Luke 22:42 | Luke 13:33 | Matthew 16:21 | Zechariah 9:9
Before we can experience the fullness of God's promises, we must be willing to submit to His will!
Jesus demonstrated perfect surrender when He prayed, “not my will, but yours, be done” (Luke 22:42, ESV).
✝️ God's way may not always be the easiest way, but His will is always worth trusting!
💭 Ask yourself: Am I willing to surrender MY plans to follow GOD'S plan?
🔹 2️⃣ THERE IS A PROPOSAL! 🛡️🔥
📖 1 Peter 5:8–9 | 1 John 4:4 | Matthew 28:18 | 1 John 2:16
The enemy wants to distract us, discourage us, and pull our hearts away from God. But we do not have to live in defeat!
💪 The Word of God reminds us to be watchful, stand firm in our faith, and remember that the One who is in us is greater than the one who is in the world (1 John 4:4)!
👑 Jesus has ALL authority in heaven and on earth (Matthew 28:18)!
⚔️ Don't give in to temptation. ⚔️ Don't surrender to discouragement. ⚔️ Don't let the desires of this world take the place of your relationship with God.
🔥 Stand firm! Resist the devil! Keep your eyes on Jesus!
🔹 3️⃣ THERE IS A PROPOSITION! ❤️⬇️
📖 James 4:8, 10 | Ephesians 2:13 | Matthew 18:3–4 | Luke 14:11 | Philippians 2:9–11
God calls us to draw near to Him with sincere hearts and to humble ourselves before His mighty hand.
🙏 James 4:8 calls us to draw near to God, and James 4:10 reminds us that the Lord will exalt those who humble themselves before Him.
❤️ Ephesians 2:13 reminds us that through Christ Jesus, those who were once far away have been brought near by His blood!
👶 Jesus taught us to become humble like children (Matthew 18:3–4).
⬇️ Humble yourself before the Lord. ❤️ Surrender your pride. 🤝 Forgive others and seek reconciliation. 📖 Confess your sins and turn back to God. 🙌 Serve others with a willing heart. 🙏 Pray for God's will above your own. 👑 Give Jesus ALL the glory!
Remember: God honors a humble heart, not a prideful spirit!
And Philippians 2:9–11 points us to the ultimate truth: Jesus Christ is Lord, and every knee will bow and every tongue confess His lordship!
🔥 THE CHALLENGE: WHAT ARE YOU RUNNING FROM, AND ARE YOU RUNNING TOWARD GOD? 🔥
🏃‍♂️ Run from temptation! 🛡️ Stand against the enemy! 🙏 Run toward God's presence! ❤️ Humble yourself before the Lord! 👑 Trust the promises of Jesus Christ!
God's promises are not an invitation to live our way; they call us to trust Him, obey His Word, and walk in His will.

PROMISES – SALVATION 📖✨
Have you ever wondered why Jesus asked so many questions during His ministry? 🤔
He didn’t ask because He lacked information—He asked to transform hearts! When we look at scripture, we discover
4 Fascinating Truths About the Questions Jesus Asked:
1️⃣ Jesus asked curiosity questions.
"Salt is good, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored?" — Luke 14:34 (See also Matthew 7:3)
2️⃣ Jesus asked open-ended questions.
"Why do you think evil in your hearts?" — Matthew 9:4 (See also Matthew 16:13, Mark 8:37)
3️⃣ Jesus asked challenging questions.
"You do not know what you are asking. Are you able to drink the cup that I drink...?" — Mark 10:38 (See also Luke 22:27)
4️⃣ Jesus NEVER asked "when" questions.
"When I sent you out with no moneybag or knapsack or sandals, did you lack anything?” They said, “Nothing.” — Luke 22:35

In Acts 16:27-31, a jailer asks the most important question anyone can ever ask. Paul and Silas give the ultimate answer:
"Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household." — Acts 16:31
When you surrender to Christ, transformation happens!
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come." — 2 Corinthians 5:17 (See also Acts 16:34)
