🔎We are searching for a full-time Student Pastor at First! At FBC Hallsville, we strive to Love God, Love Others, and Make Fully Devoted Followers of Jesus Christ. Located in the beautiful piney woods of East Texas, Hallsville is a fast growing town outside of Longview with a wonderful community and an award winning school district. FBC Hallsville has experienced significant growth in the last few years and is in the midst of a capital campaign to build a new worship center to accommodate the growth. The youth ministry at FBC Hallsville is a priority as we aim to disciple and grow the next generation of church leaders. The Student Pastor will have strong support from the staff as well as dedicated lay leaders and will enjoy a great facility for ministry. Primary Purpose: Lead and oversee the church’s junior high, high school, and college ministries by providing vision, discipleship, outreach, and pastoral care.
Key Responsibilities Include:
•Lead weekly student ministry programs, events, and discipleship efforts.
•Recruit, train, equip, and support volunteers and student leaders.
•Reach and engage unchurched students through outreach and relationships.
•Help students grow spiritually and serve in the church and community.
•Oversee ministry planning, communication, facilities, and budget.
•Serve as part of the church’s pastoral leadership through counseling, hospital visits, ministry teams, and church-wide strategy.
