Sept 23rd, 7am on your campus at the flag pole

“Come to Me” (from Matthew 11:28) is the theme for See You at the Pole™ 2026, which focuses on students praying at their schools. The event is planned for Wednesday, September 23, at schools worldwide.
The event is more than a one-day prayer event. With diverse schedules at participating schools, students are being challenged to find new and unique ways, places, and times to pray throughout the Global Week of Student Prayer September 20-26. Then on Wednesday, September 23, if possible, students are encouraged to gather at a school flagpole or other community location to pray. This means that, all around the world in every time zone, for 24 hours, students will be praying for their school, friends, families, churches, and communities.
This is the 36th year of See You at the Pole™, a student-initiated and student-led event that started in Burleson, Texas, in 1990. SYATP brings students together to intercede for their leaders, schools, and families, asking God to bring moral and spiritual awakening to their campuses and countries.

Join us for UNITE 2026 - A Night with SEU Worship, as we focus on investing in the next generation—students and young adults—while creating space for every generation to gather in one room. This will be a night of powerful worship, meaningful connection, and a shared vision for the future.

UNITE is more than an event—it’s a movement. Each year, churches, businesses, and nonprofits come together to make a lasting impact in our community. Through these partnerships, we’ve seen lives changed, leaders raised up, families supported, and unity built across our city.

🎉Our Student Pastor Search Team is excited to unanimously recommend Casey DeLay as our Student Pastor!🙌

Pastor Casey stepped up to help lead our Student Ministry in the interim three months ago and has faithfully served in this role while continuing some of his current pastoral responsibilities. Throughout the search process, the Lord has been at work both in Casey’s calling and in the search team’s commitment to find the best leader for our students. Our student ministry has already been blessed by his leadership and we look forward to seeing how God continues to work through him.

Pastor Casey has been on staff at the church since May 2023 and is excited to take on a new role in following God’s leading in discipling the next generation. Pastor Casey will also continue leading our worship ministry.

We will have a special called Covenant Member Gathering on Sunday, September 13 at 5:00 PM to vote on the new job description and for Casey to serve as "Student and Worship Pastor" at First.
