John 4 reminds us that Jacob dug a well 1,800 years earlier. Jacob didn't know what God was setting up. He just dug.
We're not just buying land. We are not just building a church in the future. We are digging a spiritual well of living water that future generations will drink from. Somebody's got to do the work. That's going to be us.
