Camp Iroquoina is a Christian camp that focuses on Gospel preaching and Bible teaching. We desire to see all who attend accept the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Savior (if they haven't already) and we also seek to help Christians walk more closely with the Lord Jesus through the teaching of His Word along with practical application.
It is neat to hear about different people's stories of how the Lord worked through the ministry of Camp Iroquoina to impact them. This week we received the following letter and painting from someone who was impacted by the ministry at Camp Iroquoina. We would love to hear about your story as well!
"Dear Camp Iroquoina,
I’m writing to share something small, but meaningful to me—a painting I made in high school of the old chapel barn (probably around 2010). Camp Iroquoina is a place that held 15 years of memories for me, from attending family camp as a very small girl, to working in the camp kitchen, to attending retreats with my youth group. Even now, when I think back on my time at camp, the chapel barn, along with the craft cabin, long house, and big hill with the long blue slide into the pond, stand out as anchors for those memories. I know that the Chapel Barn had to be replaced in more recent years because of the fire, so I thought that you might like to have this tribute to the old building. This painting is just a small way of saying thank you—for the care, intention, and spirit that made that place what it was, and still is in my memory. I hope it can serve as a reminder of the many lives that have been touched there, including mine."
