Today, we are thankful for the gift of work and for those who faithfully serve, provide, build, teach, lead, and care for others each day.

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord.” — Colossians 3:23

May we never forget that our work is an opportunity to honor God and bless others. We pray you have a safe, restful, and joy-filled Labor Day!

💛 Golden Offering for Tennessee Missions 💛

This month, we have the opportunity to support the Golden Offering for Tennessee Missions and help share the hope of Jesus right here in our own state! ❤️

Every gift—large or small—helps support missionaries and ministries as they share the Gospel, serve others, and make disciples across Tennessee.

The Golden Offering is meeting human needs through Compassion Ministries. It’s Disaster Relief helping restore communities after devastating storms. It’s Baptist Collegiate Ministries sharing the hope of Jesus on Tennessee college campuses. It’s evangelism reaching those who are spiritually lost and helping them hear the Good News of Jesus.

And that’s just the beginning! 🙌

Let’s give generously, pray faithfully, and watch God do incredible things through our gifts! 💛

Israel had inherited the consequences of previous generations’ disobedience. The temple had been destroyed, Jerusalem had been devastated, and the people had returned to a land marked by the ruins of what once was.
Through Haggai, God told His people to “Consider your ways.” (Haggai 1:5)
Today, let’s consider our ways by asking:
“Lord, what do You want me to do?”
🔹 The ruin we inherited reminds us that we cannot change the past.
🔹 The responsibility we embrace reminds us that obedience is required in the present.
🔹 The radiance we anticipate reminds us that God holds the future.
The ruins may tell us where we have been, but they do not determine where God is taking us! Praise the Lord! 🙌

Habakkuk 3:2 is a heartfelt prayer for God to move again: “Lord, I have heard of Your fame; I stand in awe of Your deeds. Renew them in our day, in our time make them known.”
Habakkuk remembered what God had done and boldly asked Him to work again. His prayer challenges us not to become satisfied with yesterday’s blessings, but to seek God for a fresh work in our hearts, our families, and our churches.
Revival is never separate from repentance. We cannot ask God to revive us while refusing to surrender the things that have drawn us away from Him. True revival begins when we humble ourselves, confess our sin, turn from our ways, and return wholeheartedly to God. Before we ask God to change the world around us, we must be willing for Him to change us.
Habakkuk’s prayer can become our prayer:
“Lord, do it again. Revive my heart. Revive my family. Revive my church. Help us repent, return, and renew our relationship with You. Let our generation see Your power and know Your name. Begin the revival in me.”
