Greetings! Big changes are ahead for DOTW. DOTW is a Catholic Charity but we do work with Protestant churches too. We will begin fundraising activity on or before August 10, 2019. We have a new fundraising platform known as DONATELY and it is paired with STRIPE for payment processing.

Our Master internal Case Statement is almost ready. Our first capacity-building grant will be ready in early August.

Our next mission trip to Honduras is scheduled for December 3 to 10th, 2019. We are in the process of doing the campaign cause to raise $12,000 to repair four churches and assist them with much needed help training Delegates of the Word, Bibles, religious literature and instruments used by the priest to celebrate Mass

Because of a severe shortage of priests in Honduras--especially in the rural remote areas, the Catholic Church trains and appoints lay Delegates of the Word to conduct prayer and bible reading services in the absence of a priest. A Delegate of the Word is similar to a Deacon but not ordained.

Delegates of the Word, Inc. is new to Facebook. We are a Catholic ecumenical 501 (c) (3) public micro charity located in Hallandale Beach, FL. We operate internationally in Honduras and domestically in Broward and Miami-Dade Counties.

Delegates of the Word, Inc. is managed by Henry Flood and Nilde Martinez who reside in Hallandale Beach, Florida. Nilde is Catholic from birth and Henry is a Catholic convert. As a Delegate of the Word, his mission and calling by the Blessed Virgin Mary and John the Baptist is to declare the word and bless as many as possible as a Catholic Christian.

Our international focus is exclusively in Honduras.We raise funds to provide medicine, social service assistance, church re-building and religious aid in Honduras.

Our work in Broward and Miami-Dade counties is focused on benefits assistance for immigrants and the needy, religious publications and Catholic evangelization.

Our work is in its start-up phase and will gradually expand in the focus areas noted. We are looking for seed funding to carry out our vision in Honduras and here.Presently, we raise funds project by project to address urgent situations in our Honduras service area within the Parish jurisdiction of San Gaspar and Taulabe, Comayagua, Honduras.

Domestically, our focus will be on helping the disabled and needy with social service benefits, Immigration assistance and the undertaking of special projects for which we will raise funds as needed. Catholic outreach and conversions are also an essential part of who and what we are.
