As the salt and light of the world, we must not conform to the patterns of this world, but to Jesus. When Jesus tells us we must not kill, and we are tempted to say, "Welll, sometimes, you know, you just need to kill," we must choose to obey Jesus. When Jesus tells us that sexual expression is limited to marriage, and we are tempted say, "That doesn't make sense for all circumstances," we must choose to follow Jesus

You, conformed to Christ, are the light of the world.

"We believe that baptism is not just a symbol of belief, but is a marking of the soul. Through baptism, the soul is regenerated and makes the person free of the sin of Adam. Baptism marks the person as Christ's own forever.

We cannot say, "I don't need theology; I just want Jesus." Instead, we need a right understanding of theology so that we can follow the true Jesus.

Mary held Jesus' bottle upright as Joseph gently rocked the holy car seat. The Angel of the Lord recited the heavenly announcement by heart - no notes. The magi processed regally. And the littlest were wandering all over the place in their sheep costumes, naturally acting the unruly part, with the shepherd girls trying their hardest to get them in line for the songs.

In short, it was perfect.

Fear not! For unto YOU is born a Savior, who is Jesus Christ the Lord. He loves you and has come to make you new.
