The idea that a relationship with God is transactional is fundamentally incorrect. A transactional faith will survive good seasons but will fail during troubled, pressurized seasons because we use it to try and manage/control God.

Job had everything, a walking testimony. But he lost it all in 1 day. Yet he still worshiped God and did not blame Him.

Apostle Paul had to learn had to be content through hardships and blessings. Philippians 4:13 was written when he was in a Roman prison. When you learn contentment, then you can say “ I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”. Christ gives you the inner strength to stay grounded

God is not trying to make your life easier; He wants to make you more like His son.

What do we do with this?
Audit your prayer life. Read one of the psalms to remind yourself who you are about to talk to, the creator of the universe.
Change one prayer this week. Pray to trust God whether he changes the situation or not, thereby surrendering the outcome to God while earnestly presenting the situation to Him.
Make your decision to praise God regardless before the storm hits.
Stop explaining other people’s suffering.

Conclusion: Stop negotiating with a vending machine and start trusting a Father.
