📖Monday Bible Study Moments

Tonight’s Bible Study reminded us that sin is the general category of wrongdoing, but Scripture also reveals different expressions of sin:

🔹Transgression — the deliberate crossing of a known boundary or command.
🔹Iniquity — sin that becomes deeply rooted in the heart and character.
🔹Trespass — an offense against God or another person.

From Adam & Eve to Ananias & Sapphira, Solomon, Moses, Peter, Judas, and King David, we saw how transgression, iniquity, and trespass played out in real lives. Yet through every example, God’s Word points us toward repentance, restoration, and His amazing grace.

The lesson is clear: don’t just identify sin—allow God to transform your heart. True freedom comes when we confess, repent, and walk in obedience to Him.

🌿 God doesn’t prune us to harm us—He prunes us so we can become more fruitful.

Sometimes the Lord removes habits, attitudes, distractions, and attachments that hinder our spiritual growth. The process may be uncomfortable, but His purpose is always loving. Every season of pruning is preparing us for greater fruitfulness in Him.

Today, ask God to reveal anything in your life that is not producing fruit for His glory. Trust that the Gardener knows exactly what needs to be removed so that what remains can flourish.

🧠⚔️ Every battle is not physical—many begin in the mind.

God has given us the authority and spiritual weapons to tear down strongholds, reject lies, and bring every thought into obedience to Christ. Fear, doubt, insecurity, anxiety, and unbelief do not have the final say. God’s truth does.

Today, choose to replace every lie with His Word, every fear with faith, and every anxious thought with His peace. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, our minds can be renewed and our thoughts transformed.
