As this school year begins, let’s pray for the grace to learn of the Father’s love for us and to unlock the secret of having a tender and compassionate heart like His.

Let’s also ask Don Bosco to help us win over the hearts of our young people to the God who made them!

Nurse, peacemaker, spiritual mother….St. Maria Troncatti was a force of nature! An Italian missionary to Ecuador, she served the Shuar people and worked for peace in the Amazon jungle. It was said that she took a bedroom on the outer part of the house because she didn’t want the sisters to wake up when people would come in the night in need of medical care. Canonized last October, we invoke her intercession for peace among peoples, in families, and in the hearts of all mankind.
