🦒☀️Safari Complete: Noah, the Ark, and a Fresh Start 🌈🐾
What a meaningful week we had in Children's and Family Ministries as we explored Unit 1, Week 4 of the Simply Loved curriculum - the powerful story of Noah’s Ark from Genesis 6:9–9:17.
In a world where people had forgotten how to live God's way, Noah stood out. He listened to God, followed His instructions, and built a giant ark - just as God asked. 🌧️ Two by two, animals climbed aboard, and as the rain poured down, God kept Noah, his family, and all those animals safe inside.
...but the story didn’t end with the storm - it ended with a rainbow, a sign of God’s promise and love. Through it all, the heart of the story reminds us of something incredible:
💡 Bible Point: God always loves us... and gives us do-overs.
God didn’t give up on Noah - and He doesn’t give up on us either. When we mess up, God’s love invites us to begin again. What a beautiful truth for kids to carry with them!
Speaking of love that’s long, wide, high, and deep… our tall friend Savanna the Giraffe has been helping us remember just how big God's love really is through our memory verse:
📖 “And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep His love is.” – Ephesians 3:18
This Sunday will be our final week with Savanna, so don’t miss your chance to say goodbye and celebrate everything we’ve learned during this unit!
🐶 Here’s a fun bonus: This week we celebrate National Dog Day! We can't say for sure, but with all those animals on the ark, we’d like to think Noah had a few faithful pups along for the ride. 🐾
🎉 Parents, we’d love to see your kids this Sunday as we wrap up this unit with joy, connection, and a powerful reminder: God's love never runs out - and He’s always ready to help us start again.
See you there!
