NorthRidge Church Where Friends Become Family NorthRidge Church is the ministry of First Baptist Church of Haines City, Inc.

Organized in 1918, First Baptist Church has ministered to the needs of Haines City and beyond for the past 92 years. Feel free to visit our services and see what we are all about. We are relatively relaxed and invite you to come just as you are. Our music is led by a full band and a team of vocalists whose role is to simply worship along with you. Our desire is that you are able to feel at home as we dig into God’s Word, our guidebook, together.

What an absolutely incredible week at VBS! ❤️🙌

We are praising God for every child who attended, every lesson taught, every game played, every song sung, and most importantly, for the many children who prayed to receive Christ this week. What a blessing to see lives touched by the love and truth of Jesus!

None of this would have been possible without our amazing volunteers who poured out their time, energy, love, and servant hearts all week long. Thank you for showing up, serving faithfully, and making an eternal impact in the lives of these children.

We may be exhausted, but our hearts are full. Thank you, Lord, for an amazing week and for all You have done!

Our VBS wouldn’t be the same without these incredible volunteers!From leading activities and teaching lessons to welcoming kids with big smiles and endless energy, they are making this week so special.

What an amazing day of fun, learning, worship, and discovering God’s truth together! If you were able to attend today, we hope to see you again tomorrow as we continue our adventure at Illumination Station!

VBS is open to children who have completed Kindergarten through completed 5th grade.

Join us for Meet Us in the Park Night on Wednesday, June 24, at 6:00 PM at Lake Eva Park! This will be a fun evening of play, food, and fellowship for the whole church family. Bring your lawn chairs, invite a friend, and enjoy time together as we connect outside the church walls. Hot dogs, chips, and water will be provided. You’re invited to the brightest week of the year! While many people claim to know about Jesus, many are in the dark about who He really is. Some might see Jesus as just a person from history, a good man, or a wise teacher but He is much more than that.

At Illumination Station VBS, kids will be challenged to answer Jesus’ important question to His disciples, "Who do you say that I am?" As they explore all the ways light brightens, illuminates, reflects, and reveals, kids will discover that Jesus is the light who brings hope to a dark world.

Jesus spoke to them again: "I am the light of the world. Anyone who follows me will never walk in the darkness but will have the light of life." John 8:12

VBS classes are available for children who have completed grades Kindergarten - 5th Grade in the 2025-2026 school year.
