We strive, on the journey, to joyfully share our time, talents and resources in works of mercy and justice within and beyond our parish. Christ the King Parish started in 1935 and has been a thriving community of the faithful ever since. We have a traditionally designed church, a pre-kindergarten to eighth-grade school, a religious education program for children, Eucharistic celebrations every day

, and spiritual, educational and social gatherings for all ages. Christ the King Church was the first to televise a Roman Catholic Mass and the first to webcast one. It was one of the first Catholic communities to form in the growing suburbs of Southwestern New Jersey. Our mission team arrived safely at Hogar Niños de Dios in Moca, DR, home to 24 children with challenges liked cerebral palsy. Staff and residents alike enthusiastically greeted us and we spent the afternoon playing with the children in the pavilion. Thankfully a cool breeze flowed through the pavilion because the temperature was in the high 90’s!

And we’re off! Ten teens started their mission trip to the Mustard Seed Communities in the Dominican Republic bright and early this morning. Pray for us as we serve alongside youth with disabilities for the next week.
