Haddock Baptist Church

Haddock Baptist Church Sharing Christ through a caring church for a changing world. Haddock Baptist Church was founded in April 1907 in the community of Haddock, Georgia.

The church is still located in the same locale, while many of today’s members come from adjacent cities and towns. In the past forty years the church has had only five pastors lending stability to the church. We have staff members working in education and children, student ministries, and music along with a strong core of volunteer lay leaders, which adds to the strength of our church family. We e

xist as a church to provide worship opportunities that honor God. We desire to strengthen the bonds of Christian fellowship which enriches the sense of Christian community. It is our aim to communicate the message of the Bible and to help us to become responsible followers and obedient disciples of Jesus Christ. We seek to demonstrate God’s love in the church, community, and world at-large through our words and actions.

More Adopt-a-Prop fun was had yesterday. The next opportunity to help create the decorations and props needed to transform our church into a rainforest for VBS will be next Saturday, May 30th. There are projects for everyone. No big crafty talent needed. Just bring your willingness to follow instructions and have fun!

Greater Jordan Chapel AME and our HBC team were able to assemble 112 meals to bless community seniors and caregivers. Two teams of volunteers combined to flawlessly get meals prepared and packaged quickly. May all who served and were served feel the presence of God today.

Tomorrow is a Monday Meals ministry day. It is a beautiful way to serve. Please come help if you’re able and available. Also please see the information about the special offering to help pay for the food we prepare and serve during the Monday Meals. So many people in our community benefit from this ministry, and we are thankful to be able to share the love of Christ through these warm meals.
