Haddock Baptist Church

Haddock Baptist Church Sharing Christ through a caring church for a changing world. Haddock Baptist Church was founded in April 1907 in the community of Haddock, Georgia.

The church is still located in the same locale, while many of today’s members come from adjacent cities and towns. In the past forty years the church has had only five pastors lending stability to the church. We have staff members working in education and children, student ministries, and music along with a strong core of volunteer lay leaders, which adds to the strength of our church family. We e

xist as a church to provide worship opportunities that honor God. We desire to strengthen the bonds of Christian fellowship which enriches the sense of Christian community. It is our aim to communicate the message of the Bible and to help us to become responsible followers and obedient disciples of Jesus Christ. We seek to demonstrate God’s love in the church, community, and world at-large through our words and actions.

Hunter Willis (aka “Honey Bun”) is always ready and willing to do whatever it takes to help our community, and he is putting himself in the dunking booth hot seat Friday if the kids at Haddock Baptist Church can collect 600 items for the VBS/Music Camp canned food drive.

As of noon today, they’ve collected 420 items. We really want to help push them to their goal. If you’d like to help them “Dunk Honey Bun,” you can either drop off items at the church tomorrow morning or send money to Hunter (cashapp and Venmo listed below) before tomorrow (Thursday, June 18th) at 6:00pm. He and Jessica will use all of those funds to go purchase as many canned items as they can to bring to VBS Friday morning.

Any donation amount accepted until tomorrow at 6:00! The kids are super close and need a little help!

All proceeds go directly towards canned food purchases! Please list “VBS food drive” in your payment.

More Adopt-a-Prop fun was had yesterday. The next opportunity to help create the decorations and props needed to transform our church into a rainforest for VBS will be next Saturday, May 30th. There are projects for everyone. No big crafty talent needed. Just bring your willingness to follow instructions and have fun!
