Come ready to have fun while learning the basics of money management. This workshop is designed to be very engaging for our youth, so come prepared to move around. Today Macon Conference CDMC hosted by Macon East District presented Navigating Academic/Social Pressures and got a sneak peek of our upcoming Black History Bowl.

Can't talk about this day without first thanking some amazing people, Rev. Dr. Michael Martin and the Camp Hope family for welcoming us and Macon East District Commissioners, Veronica Williams and Leila Deberry for organizing and being such gracious host.

Thanks to our amazing presenters, Dr. Tonya C***s, Catani Redding, and Dr. Quintin Green. When I say phenomenal, I mean PHENOMENAL. You had to be there. They met the moment with excellence. I am still in awe. All sessions were engaging and worthy of a Part 2.

Thanks to all our Commissioners, District and Local, and volunteers for their faithfulness to God and being willing vessels for the work. Your enthusiasm, dedication, and commitment is an act of worship. I know that God is pleased.

Thanks to our SED Co-Commissioners, Smitiki (Tiki) Norman and Sis Debra Bell for supporting us in the work.

Thanks to our parents, grandparents, and youth for coming out and engaging in the activities. From what I witness, I know that you gained information that will set you up for success in managing pressure and preparing for the Black History Bowl. You all rock.

Late post...

Hosted by Macon South District, Macon Conference CDMC kicked off the 26-27 Conference with an amazing College and Career Expo at New Greater Allen Temple in Byron, GA, where Rev. Charlie Hicks is the pastor August 29th.

Thanks goes out to the host District for a phenomenal job. District Commissioners, Desiree O'Bryant and Tiffany Coon-Fowler did an amazing job coordinating vendors, organizing the day, and providing lunch.

Thanks to Rev. Charlie Hicks and his members for their support of CDMC and welcoming us. We felt at home and are eternally grateful.

Thanks to our presenters, Jonita Coleman, with the GA Student Finance Commission, who presented Financial Aid 101; and Sgt. Chris Dunn, Bibb County Sheriff's Department, who spoke to our youth about staying safe.

Thanks to SED Co-Commissioner, Smitiki (Tiki) for her support and the photos. You captured our day and we are thankful, because we didn't get one.

Thanks to all our Commissioners, District and Local, for all you do for Macon Conference CDMC, from sharing communications to always being present.

Good morning, Macon Conference! Today is the day that the Lord has made, we shall rejoice and be glad in it. We are so excited to invite you, you, and you to our next powerful workshop on Navigating Academic and Social Pressures Saturday, September 19, 2026, at Camp Hope. Our presenters are experts in the field. Let's learn unbox pressure and mute the noise. We will also share details of our upcoming Black History Bowl. Share the attached flyers far and wide. Alumni are welcome. We only ask that you register your attendance so that we plan accordingly. We have attached conference schedule and information on our Mission Project to help with planning.

Good afternoon, Macon Conference!

You are invited to the Macon Conference CDMC Orientation Kickoff August 29, 2026, hosted by the Macon South District. We will be at the New Greater Allen Temple, Byron, GA, where Reverend Charlie Hicks is the pastor.

During our kickoff, we will cover what is Christian Debutante and Master Commission, who and what you can expect from CDMC leadership, and our calendar. As a teaching ministry under Christian Education, we strive to bring workshops and training opportunities to enhance our youth's spiritual and personal development in school, church, and the workplace. At this event, we will have our annual College and Career Expo for juniors and seniors alongside a workshop for allenites to present tools for success in this school year.

Attendance is free; however, we ask that you register so we can prepare enough handouts and lunch for everyone. We will close out registration August 26, so secure your spot. Scan the QR code in the flyer.

This is a wonderful opportunity for our youth to connect with others throughout the conference, so please join us and represent your school. This includes all alumni.

Sometimes you have to pause, relax, and recharge.

A few weeks ago, we took a moment to come together for fellowship and meaningful conversation as we prepare for our upcoming Rites of Passage. We thank God for the opportunity to gather, connect, and be refreshed together.

Grateful for the time shared, and special thanks to Conference Commissioner Sister Karen for treating us to some delicious appetizers ❤️🤍, and to Sister Tiki, SED CDMC Co-Commissioner, for facilitating the discussion. ❤️🤍
