What God has prepared for you will happen in His perfect timing—beautifully, carefully, and better than you imagined.

You are now entering your Isaiah 60:22 season:
“At the right time, I, the Lord, will make it happen.”

Not forced. Not rushed. Not delayed.

There is no need to worry about what has not happened yet. What is meant for you will come at the right time, exactly when God knows you are ready for it.

Even while you wait, God is already working behind the scenes and putting everything into place.

Trust the process. Trust the waiting. Trust the God who holds your future in His hands. Don’t waste your wait!

This coming Sunday, May 17th at 10am, Pastor Monte will share his FINAL message with us as our pastor.

He has entitled his final sermon to us, “Now What?” After Jesus is resurrected He is with His disciples for 40 days and then He ascends back to His Father.

The disciples obviously had a wave of emotions. They experienced his death, burial, resurrection and now He leaves them…again! Before leaving them, He told them to go back to Jerusalem and do one thing…wait!

They had to be wondering, “Now what? What are we going to do now? Wait?Really? For what?” Just like these disciples, we all experience seasons of waiting for God to reveal the next steps to take.

Pastor Monte will share with us biblical truths to prepare us and encourage us in our next season while we wait on the Lord to reveal what is next for His church called First Baptist Hackberry.

Make every effort to be present for this special Sunday. We will also recognize any high school seniors during the service.

Join us tomorrow at 10am for Mother’s Day. Pastor Monte will share a special message for mothers. A mother can be home-builder or home-breaker. From Proverbs 31, Pastor Monte will share biblical truths that will provide you with the necessary materials to be a godly home- builder mother and wife.

We have a special gift for every mother tomorrow. We look forward to celebrating this special day with you!

I never thought this day would ever come. What a 14 year journey this has been. I have always put my “YES” on the table when it comes to the calling God has on my life. And the last “YES” allowed me to serve an amazing church for 14 years! We have seen God do some amazing things during this time. I have been blessed to get a front row seat! There are so many people God has allowed me the privilege to do life with. And we saw many who went from death to life. Each story has been precious to me, some which will be forever etched in my mind.
Thanks for giving me grace and encouragement when I wasn’t at my best. There have been so many who faithfully prayed for me each week. And for that I will ever be grateful!
A new season awaits for FBC Hackberry. This is God’s church and He will always be faithful to His church. I have seen it for 14 years. Stay faithful to the end! Recommit to Christ and His church in this new season.
I have 2 more Sundays with you before we start our transition on May 31 to Senior Pastor of Highland Park Baptist Church, Texarkana, Texas.
It has truly been an honor to be your pastor of this amazing church body called First Baptist Church Hackberry. Let’s pack out these next two Sundays in honor of Jesus! I love each of you!
