MISSION STATEMENT

It is the mission of Open Bible House of Prayer Baptist Church TO WIN SOULS FOR CHRIST

This is the only mission of Christ's Church as given by Jesus Christ Himself in Scripture:
Matthew 28:17 and Mark 16:15-16

We purpose to accomplish this mission by:
1. Spreading the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all we
come in contact with.
6. Having a heart of compa

ssion for the lost.
8. Edifying the body of Christ (Church) by:
a. Regular attendance and worship. Financial support through tithes and offerings. Attendance at Bible Study and Sunday School. Praying for the Church both in our private devotions and corporate
prayer service. Developing programs to better train members to evangelize those
we come in contact with. Note: Programs are useful but they are not the basic tools. Our tools are:
1. The word of God.
2. Right Living before the world.
3. Love and Compassion for our fellow man. And most Importantly . . .
4. The Love of Jesus in our hearts.

Praise God and my heart felt thank you to the members Open Bible House of Prayer Baptist Church, family, and friends who celebrated with me on the 1st Year Anniversary! Thank you so much Rev. Dr. John A. Lunn, Sr. - Co Pastor of the Berean Good Shepherd Fellowship and my father in the ministry for preaching that powerful message!!!
God has work for us to do and I thank God for many blessings he has given and will continue to give!!!!
