Meet Jaxon, one of our Zion kids! For Superhero Day at school, Jaxon chose to dress up as Jesus. When asked why, his answer was simple and beautiful: “Because Jesus died on the cross for us.”
What a powerful reminder that even when we think our children aren’t paying attention, the good news is taking root in their hearts! Through the stories we share, the lessons we teach, and the love we show, they are learning about Jesus, and finding their own ways to share that love with the world.
Jaxon reminds us that you don’t need a cape to be a superhero, and you don’t have to be grown up to share the Gospel. Sometimes, all it takes is a child willing to tell others about the love of Jesus.
We are so grateful for our Zion kids and the ways they remind us what faith can look like through the eyes of a child. May we all have the courage to share the good news as joyfully as Jaxon!
The next generation is listening, learning, and sharing the love of Jesus. And that is something worth celebrating!

The countdown to Marvel’s Avengers: Doomsday continues! As we get ready for its December release, GATHER – Zion’s Young Adult Group is keeping the movie nights going, and we’d love for you to join us!

“When it was evening on that day, the first day of the week, and the doors of the house where the disciples had met were locked for fear of the Judeans, Jesus came and stood among them and said, ‘Peace be with you.’ After he said this, he showed them his hands and his side. Then the disciples rejoiced when they saw the Lord. Jesus said to them again, ‘Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I send you’” (John 20:19-21).

Every generation has something to teach. Every generation has something to learn.

The wisdom of older women is a gift to the church and the world. Their stories carry memories of struggles endured, barriers overcome, faith sustained, and hope renewed.

But honoring women as they age means more than celebrating what they have accomplished. It means listening to what they have to say today, welcoming their leadership, and recognizing the gifts they continue to offer.

May we nurture communities where generations learn from one another and where every woman's voice is valued.
