Barakah Shrine Temple #236

Barakah Shrine Temple #236 Barakah Temple #236 is a constituent temple of The Ancient Egyptian Arabic Order Nobles of The Mystic Shrine.

Founded in 2008, this temple is seated in Historic Guthrie, OK. Barakah Temple meets on the first Friday of each month at 1900 hours. The Pledge of The Nobility:


WE PLEDGE OURSELVES, as citizens, to conduct ourselves with due propriety, conforming to our established laws, in cooperation with our nation and its authorized officials. WE PLEDGE OURSELVES, to maintain exacting high standards in our

respective community life, that "DEMOCRACY" may become a living reality. WE PLEDGE OURSELVES, to the promotion, along with other thoughtful citizens, of modern and practical legislation enacted by any government agency, that will redound to the benefit of our "AMERICAN" way of life. WE PLEDGE OURSELVES, to support duly constituted authority for the elimination of anti-social conditions, wherever found to exist, that we and all other people may enjoy a rich, round and full life. WE PLEDGE OURSELVES, to morally support and encourage every social agency, that has for its purpose the maintenance of the highest ideals of the people of the nation. WE PLEDGE OURSELVES, to cooperate fully in disseminating "TRUTH", among the people of the earth, to the end that "DEMOCRACY" shall prevail forever, and the peace of every nation be preserved.

Barakah Temple No. 236 was indeed on the move for the community this Thanksgiving Weekend!
The Nobility were proud to assist the City Of Guthrie and Langston by serving at the Annual GENERAL TOM DANIELS THANKSGIVING DINNER. Every year General Tom Daniels (Ret) host this feast for over 1000 people , to include Job Corp students, the City and County Police, Local Fire and Volunteer Fire departments. Not to mention those in the city and county jail. Along with the former mayor of Guthrie and the Mayor of the City of Langston, and other local leaders to include the members of Eureka Lodge #14. P.H. A., F.& A.M. OF Guthrie Ok., the Nobility was well represented. Some members even brought family members to participate.
The amount of " thank you's " received from those being served truly was more of a blessing to us as much as the meal was a blessing to them. I want to thank the Nobility for taking time to do what we are supposed to do as Nobles and that is serve this community. Thank you , Thank you , Thank you!
