Ambassadorships LLC First and foremost: To bring people to an understanding and recognition of the need for, and a faith in a personal Savior, Jesus Christ. Ambassadorships and G.

The name Ambassadorships comes directly from II Corinthians 5: 20. The seminars and presentations describe a Christian Apologetic that is remarkable in its scope, is easy to follow and remember. They will help believers develop and share the evidence for the truths’ of God and Jesus Christ to a fallen, cynical world. Bradley Nelson is proud to announce it has a new book offering. This book, A Conv

ersaunt Existence, was a finalist in the New Look Writers Contest and has been published through Westbow Press, a division of Zonderavan and Thomas Nelson. This book, A Conversaunt Existence, has developed specific new evidence for proclaiming that God is to those who try to deny God’s existence. The website www.ambassadorships.net is an excellent way to get more information about the Ambassadorships program and learn more about or purchase the book, “ A Conversaunt Existence.”

I want to let folks know that this part of ambassadorships.net has obviously been neglected. There have been health issues and along with that was a sense of a need for the time to keep up with the facebook site. It is time to begin catching up with the articles I've continued to publish at netcastblog.ambassadorships.net and hopefully I will do so quickly. Thanks for your patience.

The next article I am downloading here was published in April, 2022. I hope you enjoy it.

WITH EYES TO SEE

In previous blog articles answers to the questions of: What is truth, who is the Truth, and where does truth come from have all been addressed. It is past time to address the cultural rejection of there being truth as it is normally defined. It can be shown that today’s media is not interested in the truth. The media today is merely a propaganda arm of the greedy, power mongers. They are willing participants in Satan’s plans. While some of these perpetrators’ may even dare to admit it, some won’t. Regardless, by their twisted reporting, they show everyone with eyes to see, who they serve, and that they belong to the father of lies.

A previous blog article here dealt with the term being used called ‘my truth’. It has been debunked in the article titled, “TRUTH BE TOLD.” Within its pages the my truth notion gets exposed as a nonsensical proclamation. Every case where the phrase my truth gets used, the speaker is denying the existence of “the truth.” The problem inherent in this incoherent phrase is once you deny there being such a thing as the truth, it is gone in totality. ‘The truth’ is either true for everyone or else it isn’t the truth, period. So any time someone uses the phrase ‘my truth’ they are trying to sell, you the reader or listener, a post-modernist bill of goods. It doesn’t meet the criteria of consistency, correspondence or coherence, which are determinative for establishing facts and reality. To say a precept is ‘true for me’ denies the existence of that prescribed truth by definition.

Furthermore, in the blog article, “THE ATTACK ON TRUTH” we read, “The tests of coherence, correspondence, and consistency are important to the world views people have. These tests undermine the positions of evolution, naturalism, materialism and many others. But in order to get people to recognize the truth, Christians need to reach out to them.”

One could certainly move to a discussion relating to (NASB) John 14: 6 “Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, and the Truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.” It’s a natural progression for Christians when thinking about truth. But I want to address a new term just recently coined in print form. It is extremely accurate in its defining a whole group of people. One might even accurately call those folks ‘sheeple’. This new term goes by the title, ‘Complicity Theorist’. It should not be confused with a conspiracy theorist. While conspiracy theories are not created equally and each one is not necessarily true, some may indeed be true. However, they are all, both the true and the false, being grouped together and then belittled and smeared by a corrupt media. This is done because some theories expose the political elites, the phony media tycoons, , the crony journalists, and others as liars and possibly criminals.

By definition, this new term ‘Complicity Theorist’ is a person who accepts the political narrative of the day unquestionably; consumes mainstream media like it was 1980; and is prone to submissiveness, outbursts of irrational fear, and public shaming of free-thinkers. As far as anyone can tell the phrase was first recorded in Melbourne or Victoria – Australia in 2020.

Those individuals who spew forth lie upon lie and the complicity theorists who blindly follow them are entrapped in Satan’s destructive purposes whether they see it or not. News is no longer the news; it just provides a platform to misdirect people. Those who have a thirst for knowing what is happening in the world have become stool pigeon’s for the self-proclaimed ‘superior intellects’. Take as an example the timing for the Russian incursion and war against Ukraine. A person should immediately be questioning what is truly going on. There has not been one report providing direct evidence or knowledge as to WHY.
Could it have anything to do with Hunter Biden’s nefarious position as a head of Ukraine’s electrical power supply with its large payouts being shared with his daddy, Joe? What one does see is this war is providing cover for treacherous acts perpetrated upon the unsuspecting public. It is horrific to see Ukrainian civilians paying the price for others evil acts or inactions.

The term public used above is all inclusive. It is a worldwide phenomenon. Yours truly has been considering the worldwide release of and the ongoing misinformation being reported about the origins of the Covid 19 corona virus. The highly suspect regulations and directives dealing with it continue to this day. I have come up with a phrase that defines this. It can be called the “Covid Directive.”

It appears that the statements and actions of those in authority were originally designed to isolate and insulate the public from the truth about how the disease was transmitted to humans. There is the possibility of US involvement in supplying money to fund a project to create biological weapons in Wuhan. Then after its accidental release, the US infectious disease agency stated everyone needed to mass quarantine until the hospitals were prepared for the pandemic. In the past the sick were quarantined, not the healthy. The world followed suit through directives supplied by the World Health Organization. Well, the hospitals became prepared but the quarantine never ended.

Those directives were quickly extended without the necessary research to back any new regulations up. The masses were just supposed to give up freedoms on their superior advice. Soon enough those regulations weren’t good enough and so children whose immune systems vigorously repelled the disease were wearing masks and getting shots just like the adults. The public needed to Remember the adage, “It’s for the Children.” Again, it appears that the ongoing goal is to make sure that the truth is never revealed. Regretfully it appears that societies throughout the world will never awaken from the stupor that they have been subjected to. One might even say it’s a stupor designed by the lies they have had injected upon them. The obvious result is having this group of complicity theorists blindly following todays’ Pied Pipers.

A pattern is emerging and it is not pretty. While some conservative pundits are beginning to proclaim a possible destruction of western civilization, believers should understand that what we are witnessing is the eventual, eternal doom of people and societies that don’t know Jesus Christ as their Lord, Savior, and King.

It really looks like Satan is becoming more desperate daily. It appears that he sees the writing on the wall. To misquote Daniel 5: 25-28, Satan and his lackeys have been weighed and measured and found wanting. While there is evidence suggesting that the end times are rapidly approaching, but we don’t know this with absolute certainty. Then again, we aren’t just reading tea leaves either. While on the subject of tea leaves, does anyone think China might have the idea that now may be a good time to re-subjugate Taiwan?

Our Lord has left us with instructions whether the end times are near or not. He has told us to go out and preach the good news to all people. Paul writes in II Corinthians 5: 20 “Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to Christ, be reconciled to God.” (Coincidently this verse inspired the name of this blog.) Jesus said in Matthew 28: 19 “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.” Believers, we have been given a job to do. It’s high time to do it; before it’s too late.

01/05/2022

Well, I recently wrote an article for the Christmas holidays. It seems like a good idea to post it here on Facebook while the holiday spirit lingers. It was posted at netcastblog.ambassadorships.net on December 26, 2021 and the title is:
"SOMETHING THIS CHRISTMAS."

Everyone believes in something. Actually, everyone believes in a minimum of two things, without question. The one thing that is universally believed in is their own existence. This existing belief may take different forms, but whichever way one thinks about it, they ‘are’ and without a doubt each must admit to current existence and an acknowledgement of self.

The next thing that people believe is wide open. It’s not to say that this other belief should necessarily be open to as wide a variety of positions about life, the universe and everything as it is. But it is what it is. That’s just the world as we find it and it’s what we have to work with.

This additional belief is about God’s existence. It can be broken down into two major groups. However, one of these major divisions can be divided into a couple of additional categories. Please note; there isn’t going to be additional sub-categories’, which can be defined add infimum, as it would take too long and isn’t necessary. This topic will stay more on point to the advent of the Birth of Christ, where God became man.

There is a verse in scripture that will be illustrative of the dichotomy of the two position equation being addressed. (All Biblical quotations will be from the NASB)In Matthew 6:24 and also Luke 16: 13, Jesus tells us that, “No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and wealth.” There is no more poignant verse in scripture to show everyone than this verse explaining those opposing beliefs people tenaciously hold on to.

It is time to cut to the chase. On one side of this division is God. There is a priority to make it clear that this God is triune in nature, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. To let the cat out of the bag, so to speak, it has eternal ramifications to understand that Jesus Christ, the Son of God is the LORD of all, meaning Lord of everything. Mankind is subject to this Truth whether he wants to accept it or not and also that this Truth is objectively provable. (See “A CONVERSAUNT EXISTENCE: An argument for the determination of God’s Ontology; His being real.)

On the other hand, or side of the division, is a group on non-believers of the saving grace available through the atonement freely given to us through Christ Jesus. For a reference Look into John 1: 1 it tells us, “ 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” That Word is the English translation of the word Logos. John goes on to state, in John 1: 2-3, “ 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him not even one thing came into being that has come into being.” That is only part of the majesty of who Jesus Christ is. Ultimately there was a purpose for God to take on flesh. John 3: 16 ties up the loose end telling us, “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life.” For anyone wishing to understand the word begotten, it means the Son was not made or created. Back to John 1: 4, 5 we read, “ 4 In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men. 5 The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.”

In verses 9-14 we get clued in on the whole picture. It states, “ 9 There was the true Light which, coming into the world, enlightens every man. 10 He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. 11 He came to His own, and those who were His own did not receive Him. 12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name, 13 who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God. 14 And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.” We believers, of course know His name. It is the name of Jesus and someday every man, woman, and child will bow the knee before Him.

The main precept of those disbelievers is that they are not looking for the light. They would rather reject it. By rejecting this Light, Jesus Christ, they are in essence serving Satan. Distinguishing characteristics of this group is hate, fear and their lust for power. Two reasons for this need to have power, to hate, and to generate fear is their desire for wealth and control. For them it doesn’t matter how that power is achieved. One of the current methods for control and power is to divide people, to set one against the other. These power / hate mongers have deployed a new strategy for this division. It is called Critical Race Theory and they call their adherents ‘Woke’. They employ a strategy of having only two types of people, the oppressed and the oppressors. This sounds an awful lot like how the communists developed the the proletariat and the bourgeoisie.

For them, anyone who is not a part of the ‘woke’ groups are to be despised. Today, another weapon that is used in causing divisions is by the derogatory name calling of anyone who doesn’t want to use the vaccine for the Covid 19 virus calling them “The Unvaxxed.” It’s like when the Germans of WWII were called the Nazi’s or the Krauts. It stirs up feelings of ‘us vs them’. Then with the use of the ‘us verses them’ in place, the power hucksters incorporate abject fear of the actual virus. This makes both the woke and the vaccine devotees panic stricken; leaving them without an ability to use reason and see the lies of those who control them.

Ultimately, I don’t know how this is going to end. I certainly can see it not ending well for my fellow Christians. However, that isn’t what really matters for believers. No, we are told that our job is to go out and make disciples. Our job is to bring as many into the Kingdom of God as we possibly can. Time may be getting short, so we better get down to business. We had better get busy doing “Something this Christmas.”

First and foremost, let me wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving. No, Covid 19 has not disappeared. However, most families are reuniting for the holiday this year. My heart goes out to the families who cannot fully gather together due to the loss of a loved one or by having to be quarantined.

To be sure, I am again posting an article from the blog, netcastblog.ambassadorships.net. It first appeared on May 29, 2021. The gap between the dates of posting to the blog and then here on Facebook is slowly closing.

The title for this article is, “Ancestral Smarts.” It provides evidence that helps those with eyes to see and those with ears to hear the truth. Specifically the truth about modern man not being nearly as bright as he thinks he is:

Ancestral Smarts

Chronological snobbery is a phrase that was used by the author C. S. Lewis. He may not have been the first but I’m pretty sure he won’t be the last either. Basically, the phrase describes how modern man thinks he is superior to his predecessors. This belief in a superior intellect is exacerbated as the comparisons are directed at more and more ancient people groups.

Comparatively, biblical scoffers and mockers are close companions of the chronological snobbery crowd. The natural sciences lead the way in marginalizing the scriptures. Other disciplines within the educational system are in lock step with this assessment. This institution and let’s not forget atheists in general simply deny anything supernatural about the Bible or Biblical times and that includes a denial of the existence of God.

Contrary to those types, I hold the Bible as the authoritative word regarding what was, what is, and what’s to come. The Holy Scripture has expressed itself specifically regarding scoffers. Job, who has been quoted recently in another blog article, was the first book of the Bible to reference scoffers. (NASB) Job 16: 20 states, “My friends are my scoffers; my eye weeps to God,” and again in Job 20: 2 it says, “Mockers are certainly with me, and my eye gazes on their provocation.” Job goes on to say that he, himself, is a proverb for the people. In this case I think he is saying things aren’t always as they appear to be.

The current cultural elitism and the thinking that the ancients, our ancestors, were somehow inferior to us, is unconscionable. I've heard of explanations and responses akin to, "These folks may have had good intentions, but they were incompetent when you compare them to what we have accomplished." A short response to this snobbery is, “Not so fast.” While it’s true that people of earlier times may not have been as technically advanced as our society, but in other areas they were certainly our intellectual equals and often times were our superiors.

One can almost hear them say, “Oh yeah, then prove it.” Yes, the proof is in the pudding, so to speak. Before beginning, there is an issue that needs to be addressed. The problem is twofold. First, the recorded history is sometimes skewed by an author having taken sides or by having had a personal interest in recording events in a certain way. Then, there is a problem of current critics skewing the record, of the records, by making a claim that some evidence has more value, or that some evidence must be rejected, or that some evidence needs to have a significantly larger amount of corroborative evidence than other ancient documents.

I believe a more philosophical approach will be useful when trying to ascertain a more accurate picture of the past and those past thinkers. An important aspect of this approach is to understand that every person, society, or culture has held to some basic propositions. These can normally be put together in a form that is called a world view. Some of these basic beliefs (aka. tenets) are found consistent both cross culturally and across time. For now I just want to say that everyone has a base set of propositions that they believe.

A term previously used to describe Western Civilization was that it had a Judeo-Christian world view. In some ways this might be a descriptive overview of our culture and heritage still. But it certainly doesn’t accurately portray today’s society. When looking at the current events and when reading about the views of the people that lend support to an institutionalized political correctness; we can see the Judeo-Christian world view being marginalized.
However, the Christian world view is defendable. In fact, I don’t believe any other world view can adequately answer the questions our world presents us with. It is the only world view that is consistent and makes sense of it all.

Let us begin with an example from the Bible. Now the Bible is authoritative. It has been more scrutinized and continues to be more scrutinized than any other book of historical significance. It is also more vehemently denied its proper due by people than any other book of historical significance. A part of the problem stems from people today not understanding the differences they have with the peoples of that time.

Let’s go back to the time when Jesus and the apostles were alive and walking around on this earth. We find there was a line of demarcation between two religious groups. There was a group called The Pharisees which believed there was a resurrection at the end of the age. There was another group called The Sadducees which held to the view that there was no physical resurrection. Jesus, who was no fan of the Pharisees, did support the position that said there is a resurrection of the dead. Jesus even destroyed the Sadducees argument in a confrontation He had with them. The event is recorded in Matthew 22: 23-33; and then in verses 34-45 he goes on to silence the Pharisees.

Does anything about the argument between these two groups sound familiar? Are there similar distinctions between two particular groups today? Part of the rift drawn between the views of Christianity and those of the secular humanists and scientific naturalists is a disagreement over the same question of life after death. Some may say one must make a distinction between the Pharisees and the natural scientists by claiming natural scientists don’t adhere to any set of religious beliefs.

A simple response is, “Ah contraire,” there is no other group that holds more ‘zealously’ or tenaciously to their beliefs than the natural scientists do. One can come to the same conclusion when looking at the similarities between the Sadducees and the secular humanists. They all hold religiously to their beliefs.

Secular humanists appreciate the ability to make it up the rules as you go. They have concluded that hedonistic pleasures are not wrong and should not carry any negative connotations for any who practice such things. Within this group are folks proclaiming there is no God. Therefore, why not live it up with a little immediate gratification. To borrow Hillary Clinton’s snarky phrase, “At this point, what difference does it make.” However, I have urgent news that will rain down and dampen their little parade. The truth of the matter is: there is a God and there is a resurrection.

It’s not a good idea to have and hold onto a world view that makes categorical denials about God existing, all the while knowing that most people throughout time have disagreed with them.

Remember, these natural scientists and secular humanists think they are so much more intelligent than anyone else even though their evidence is so weak. It seems that they think that if they can yell louder, silence the opposition, and bully everyone else, they can make their position and beliefs come true.

However, it can be shown beyond a shadow of a doubt that God does indeed exist, and this evidence is not flimsy. The book this author has written, “A CONVERSAUNT EXISTENCE” philosophically proves God’s existence. Additionally, there is a mountain of evidence and many other books that show God is real. With the knowledge of God's existence secure, it should be reasonable to expect that there are arguments to answer the other questions contained in a world view. There are other articles written in “netcastblog.ambassadorships.net” that offer answers to those questions and much, much more.

Ultimately, regarding humanity, it appears not much has changed. People, themselves are still trying to declare what is right or wrong, good or bad, and how they alone determine the correct course of action. For two thousand years the New Testament’s proclamations and truths have been contested and ignored by non-Christians. Downfall, ruin and a complete separation from God is all that awaits these lost souls.

In this newest entry I wish to inform you, the reader, that it was in fact the article that followed directly behind the previous article I posted here titled, "Truth be Told." It is a good follow-up article and even though you will see that it was written a while back, it's truths are still relevant today.

So with that being said I will now post the article from netcastblog.ambassadorships.net titled, "The Attack on Truth."

THE ATTACK ON TRUTH

On October 11, 2019 Attorney General William Barr gave a speech to the Law School at Notre Dame. The title of his message was, “A Threat to Democracy.” In it he used the phrase “militant secularists” to describe an internal threat to our country. “This is not decay,” Barr said. “This is organized destruction. Secularists and their allies have marshaled all the forces of mass communication, popular culture, the entertainment industry, and academia in an unremitting assault on religion and traditional values.”

I believe his quote is an accurate summation of the previous article, “Truth Be Told.” It was published on October 4, 2019 in netcastblog.ambassadorships.net. In it evidence was provided to show how this attack has been developed and disseminated. I spoke of the current disregard for anything resembling truth and a rejection of God, by the same groups the Attorney General was referencing.

The historical aspects of how man has reached these wrong conclusions rest within the use and/or misuse of logic. The current “battle” for the hearts and minds of Americans include a struggle for supremacy between inductive and deductive logic. This is so, even if the majority of the people participating don’t recognize it. The distinction can be framed another way by saying empiricism is attacking reason.

Mankind’s desire to be his own god and the advancement of naturalist’s empiricism are being used to obscure deductive reasoning through dishonesty; by hiding and disguising their own assumptions. The charlatan’s embrace of relativity and subjectivity steer people away from the truth, which includes an eternity separated from the love of God. (For reference read the last article titled, “Truth Be Told.”)

Believers need to realize time is short and the Great Commission, first delivered to the disciples, is with us to this day. There cannot be any more vacillating or hesitation. Every living, cognizant human being has a world view they adhere to and those views are certainly not created equal. If you go back to the article, “The Universe Speaks” you can get a good idea of what world views pertain to and how they fit into the context of the universe we live in.

A book by Dr. James Sire titled, “The Universe Next Door" presents 5 elements of a world view. They are:
1. What is Prime Reality (aka. Who is God)?
2. Who Is Man?
3. What happens to man at death?
4. What is the significance of human history?
5. What is the basis of morality?
The only world view that has an adequate answer to the final question, "What is the basis of morality?" is a world view that confirms God's existence. It is God that establishes right and wrong. Man can't do this by himself.

The tests of coherence, correspondence, and consistency are important to the world views people have. These tests undermine the positions of evolution, naturalism, materialism and many others that aren’t as dominant. But in order to get people to recognize the truth, Christians need to reach out to them. Those people are found in all sizes and shapes. It is critical to remember that these people are found in all kinds of conditions. There is no “one size fits all” way to reach out to a lost, hurting, or self-serving world. However, there is one message that will help all mankind and that message is the gospel’s “Good News” of Jesus Christ.

So the question becomes, “How do we engage a society that has ever increasing numbers of people that have rejected reason, truth, and God?” The answer remains the same; get them so see their need for it. Sometimes that is done with care and gentleness; sometimes it is with a metaphorical 2x4 slapped up alongside their head. Usually it is somewhere in between. Regardless, as believers we all need to get in there and participate. It appears as if mankind is hell bent on destroying God’s world by trying to set up a false utopia that will never be. Is this dystopic world, that mankind seems to envision and the “New World Order” that they clamor for, a part of the biblical end times? Time will tell.

Believers know that God wants us to be His voice, calling the non-believers back to Himself. Jesus has told all mankind in (NASB) John 14: 6, “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life.” Christians are to share this Truth and address the inconsistencies used by the people we are in contact with. They are the lost, just as the rest of us once were. They are in need of a savior just as we were. They need to be reached out to just as we were whether it was family, a friend, an acquaintance, or pure happenstance; God reached out to us and changed our hearts and minds.

The article I am posting today was first published in netcastblog.ambassadorships.net on October 9.2019. It's title is "TRUTH BE TOLD." There has been a concerted effort in our world to suppress the truth. But mankind needs to hear the truth and it's never been more important to do so than it is today. So please read on about the speaking 'the truth.'

TRUTH BE TOLD

This title is actually a very old phrase with a bunch of connotations. However, it does make an inference that is objective – that there is truth. The essential element is that one is to speak the truth. Speaking “The Truth” seems to have become a fuzzy issue for our society in the 21 century. (Understand I am not including true believers in Jesus Christ in that assessment.) But since the enlightenment of the 1700’s there has been a steady procession away from there being ‘the truth’ toward everything becoming subjective or relative.

This began with the philosophers that came after Soren Kierkegaard. They misinterpret Kierkegaard’s positions and proclaimed that truth is subjectivity. This became known as Existentialism. After the existentialists, along came Modernism and it digressed with the proposition of truth is relative. Add into this mix, the domination of the scientific academia, with the subsequent denial of this world having a creator, and the situation has only deteriorated.

Post-modernism came on the philosophical scene about 75 years ago and it has become the penultimate position of the academic class and more recently society in general. It has embraced the main idea of post-modernism, where each person has their own truth individually. The concept reached critical mass and has succeeded in becoming the standard for deciphering any truth. In today’s world, with its atheistic spokespersons, almost every field of higher education and media promotes the post-modern position. This includes movies, television and all of the mainstream news outlets including TV, newspapers and magazines; no wonder the onslaught has overwhelmed the sane folk among us.

The inclusion of the concept of ‘sane folk’ is being used because there are people who continue to hold onto a set of moral beliefs. They aren’t necessarily believers but they won’t give up the concept of right and wrong. It is known and provable that in order for there to be a right and a wrong there needs to be someone from outside the human experience to be able to tell mankind what is right and what is wrong. That someone, the Creator, needs to know “The Truth” objectively. If there isn’t a Truth giver there is no way to establish any meaning to either, what is right or what is wrong. There is only ‘What is’ and there can’t be a ‘what ought to be.’ That is actually what Kierkegaard was proclaiming.

Our society’s elites seem to think they can tell everyone else what is right and wrong based on their understanding but it carries absolutely no weight. Their best informed guesses are biased and ultimately only the overall strategies of the survival of the fittest and might makes right will remain. Those still sane among us don’t believe that way to live is a good idea or conducive to survival, (unless you individually have the power to subjugate everyone under you), which appears to be a major objective of Satan.

Believers need to be made aware of this particular topic. It is the basis of current mainstream thought. It is the reason our society is beginning to incorporate a new phrase into the vocabulary. Its conception is vile and disingenuous. The new phrase being bantered about in the past few years is subtle but significant. One needs to be listening closely to catch the phrase being used and to understand its devastating consequences. This phrase is short but powerful in its insidiousness. The phrase stated simply is someone saying, “my truth.” I’ve heard it used in a variety of circumstances, some are using it intentionally with the knowledge of its dire consequences. Others may just be imitators and a final group may be using it to show others, how smart they are.

Regardless, in every case that the phrase ‘my truth’ gets used the speaker is denying the existence of “The Truth.” The problem for them is once you deny there being such a thing as ‘The Truth,’ it is gone in totality. ‘The Truth’ is either true for everyone or else it isn’t ‘The Truth’ period. So any time someone uses the phrase ‘my truth’ they are trying to sell you the reader or listener “A Bill of Goods.” It doesn’t meet the criteria of correspondence or coherence, necessary for determining facts or reality. To say a precept is ‘true for me’ denies the existence of truth by definition.

Any individual attempt to make this phrase acceptable terminology has satanic influences written all over it. After all, the Bible (all Biblical Quotes will be from the NASB) tells believers in Ephesians 6:12 “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.” Satan has done a fair job of getting people to deny his existence. Now Satan is succeeding in having people get to the point that they deny the existence of “The Truth.” Mankind, in large measure has jumped on board with this plan. Unregenerate man, conceited and self-absorbed, is hell bent on destroying God’s world with a false utopia that will never be.

Let’s go back to the original phrase and title of this article. Understandably, “Truth Be Told” has a religious connotation to it, with good reason. All of the Holy Scriptures were written with the understanding that there is a God, that there is right and wrong and that there is ‘The Truth.’ Furthermore, the Bible has proclaimed that Jesus Christ is “The Way, the Truth and the Life.” For believers ‘The Truth’, Jesus Christ, is to be proclaimed throughout the world, quoting Matthew 28:19 “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father, and the Son and the Holy Spirit.”

So the next time you hear that ugly, horrid phrase, ‘my truth,’ raise a holy stink about how universally damning it is to anyone who proclaims it or believes such nonsense. It is the believer’s duty to reject and condemn this unholy wording anytime it is uttered.
