Sometimes community looks like a small group or a Lakeland Institute class. Other times, it looks like a summer softball league.

Both of Lakeland’s softball teams just wrapped up their season, and took home championships in both leagues!

We love celebrating wins like this, but even more, we love the relationships, memories, and joy these teams built together all summer long.

You are invited for a special worship and prayer night on September 11.

This will be a special time for our community as we gather to worship the Lord and pray for our country. So, join us on September 11 at 7PM.

Sure, we’ll have a congregational meeting before with a few numbers and decisions and spreadsheets. But afterward, we’ll enjoy fellowship and ice cream.

God is not distant or uncaring. He is incredibly close and he always has been.

Pastor Parker took us through Psalm 8 yesterday and reminded us that the same God who placed the stars and calls them by name knit us together in our mothers’ womb. It’s an overwhelming truth and calls us closer to His heart.

Today may you rest in this truth: You are an image bearer loved by God.
