2.00 - A Reading and Lesson from the Book of Life
The Song of the Saints:
From a distance, those in the dark can see a light and can hear them singing the Song of the Saints:
And They Sang a New Song,
all who surrounded the Throne;
Revelations
4.8 Day and night they never stop saying:
“‘Holy, holy, holy
is the Lord God Almighty,’
who was, and is, and is to come.”
4.11 “You are worthy, our Lord and God,
to receive glory and honor and power,
for you created all things,
and by your will they were created
and have their being.”
5.9 “You are worthy to take the scroll
and to open its seals,
because you were slain,
and with your blood you purchased for God
persons from every tribe and language and people and nation.
10 You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God,
and they will reign on the earth.”
5.12 “Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain,
to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength
and honor and glory and praise!”
5.13 “To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb
be praise and honor and glory and power,
for ever and ever!”
7.10 “Salvation belongs to our God,
who sits on the throne,
and to the Lamb.”
7.12 “Amen!
Praise and glory
and wisdom and thanks and honor
and power and strength
be to our God for ever and ever.
Amen!”
7.15 Therefore,
“they are before the throne of God
and serve him day and night in his temple;
and he who sits on the throne
will shelter them with his presence.
16 ‘Never again will they hunger;
never again will they thirst.
The sun will not beat down on them,’
nor any scorching heat.
17 For the Lamb at the center of the throne
will be their shepherd;(H
‘he will lead them to springs of living water.’
‘And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.’
11.15 “The kingdom of the world has become
the kingdom of our Lord and of his Messiah,
and he will reign for ever and ever.”
11.16 “We give thanks to you, Lord God Almighty,
the One who is and who was,
because you have taken your great power
and have begun to reign.
18 The nations were angry,
and your wrath has come.
The time has come for judging the dead,
and for rewarding your servants the prophets
and your people who revere your name,
both great and small—
and for destroying those who destroy the earth.”
12.10 “Now have come the salvation and the power
and the kingdom of our God,
and the authority of his Messiah.
For the accuser of our brothers and sisters,
who accuses them before our God day and night,
has been hurled down.
11 They triumphed over him
by the blood of the Lamb
and by the word of their testimony;
they did not love their lives so much
as to shrink from death.
12 Therefore rejoice, you heavens
and you who dwell in them!
But woe to the earth and the sea,
because the devil has gone down to you!
He is filled with fury,
because he knows that his time is short.”
And the Eternal Holy Spirit of the Lord God says:
I Am here Lord to do your will and work. May God's Grace, mercy, and Blessings be with you…and me.
