Point of Grace Church ... WHERE THE POINT IS GRACE The very first thing is that Point of Grace is all about Jesus. When you visit, all we’ll ask you to do is “relax”.

Every week, we join together to worship God and to experience a relevant and powerful message, which teaches truths from the Bible. You’re with friends. Second, this church is designed with you in mind. We realize coming to a new church is sometimes a bit uncomfortable, but we promise we will NOT single you out, make you stand, use name tags, call or harass you after you visit. That’s our “Anti-St

alking Guarantee!” Third, don't worry about what to wear. We believe God looks at the inside. Our people, from the pulpit to the pew, are always casual...so you should dress for comfort too. Our one-hour, Christ centered service is designed for everyday people who are investigating the claims of Christianity as well as those interested in learning how to apply biblical principles to everyday living. What can you expect as a guest of Point of Grace? ... a casual atmosphere, friendly people and great music ... messages about Jesus that are relevant to your life ... your children will be taught about Jesus in a safe environment during the service. We pride ourselves in making sure people realize how much they matter to God and helping them to find Christ's answers to today's modern problems. At the Point of Grace ... the Point is Grace.

Pastor John Steen has been called to serve as Lead Pastor of Point of Grace Church. John has a passion for sharing the Gospel, teaching the truth of God’s Word, and helping people become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ. A retired U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel, John served 23 years as an aviation officer, including deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. In August 2026, he earns his Master of Divinity from the Rawlings School of Divinity at Liberty University.

John and his wife, Jana, are proud to call Guntersville home and live in the Spring Creek community. Together they have five children—Hailey, Jones, John Owen, Molly, and Eryn. In addition to serving at Point of Grace, John works for General Atomics in Huntsville and enjoys deer hunting, bass fishing, and spending time with his family.

Above all, John desires to point people to Jesus and help them discover how God can use their lives, experiences, and gifts for His purpose.
