Bible Studay at 9:00 a.m. Worship Service at 10:00 a.m. Mount Calvary Lutheran Church - LCMS exists to preach Christ, and him crucified.

Through the cross we have access to the Father. It is our privilege and task to administer the gifts God places in our midst: His Word and the holy Sacraments. Through these gifts, the Lord equips us to do good works for which He has created us. We seek to bring glory to God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Our mission is to follow Christ, to instruct and encourage Christians to become like Christ and to present Jesus to the world as Savior and Lord.

August is the month of new beginnings! You may know someone headed to preschool, kindergarten, or every grade level through college.

How do you feel about that? There is definitely excitement, which can be tempered with a little tug at our heartstrings. (Let's face it—those ties are going through a little bit of a stretch right now!)

After 40 years of sending my little ones and almost grown ones to school, I spend EXTRA time covering my family in prayer this time of year. Why?

One of our greatest privileges is our access to the power of prayer!

Please join me on August 11th at 6pm, right here, for our Growing in Grace virtual prayer walk.

This is my third event like this, and they are so POPULAR! I hope you will be part of it.

God already knows what the challenges our kiddos will face during the next school year, and by coming together in prayer, we can offer them the strength, wisdom, and guidance they need to navigate through whatever happens.

We can stand united in faith!

The Heart of a Helper Virtual Prayer Walk - Live From Scotland
Saturday, June 15, 7 am Central Time (2 pm London Time)

During the walk at Crathes Castle Gardens, I want to pray for the helpers who build God's kingdom and relationships through acts of kindness and compassion. This will be a time for reflection to strengthen our bonds as helpers and a reminder that the ultimate outcome is in God's hands.

‼️ There are several ways you can be part of this event:
1️⃣ Set aside 2 pm London Time | 8 am Central Time on June 15th to join me in prayer.
2️⃣ Participate in the event by watching the Facebook Live broadcast and praying.
3️⃣ Engage in the Facebook Live chat by sending in a prayer request.
4️⃣ Virtually join the walk from your location via the Facebook Live broadcast.
5️⃣ If you're nearby, walk with me in person at Crathes Castle Gardens.
