As summer winds down and a new season begins, there’s a sense of new energy around here‼️

After more than 20 years of dedicated leadership, our Director Greg Crapo recently retired, marking the close of his incredible chapter and the beginning of an exciting new one. Leadership transitions bring new perspectives, new possibilities, and of course a new rhythm to learn.

While things may have seemed a little quiet on social media over the past few months, there has been PLENTY happening behind the scenes here at de l’Epee! We’ve been listening, learning and planning new ways to support our families in need.

And while we’re not quite ready to share all the details just yet, there are some exciting ideas taking shape! From opportunities for connection and fellowship, to greater accessibility in faith formation, to creative ways of building awareness and celebrating all abilities…we are here to minister to YOU.

Some ideas are still just ideas. Some are becoming plans.

As we head into a new season, we’re excited about what’s ahead and look forward to bringing you along as these possibilities take shape!

A new season. A new chapter. All new possibilities.

Stay tuned. There’s more to come.

Thirty-six years ago today, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) reaffirmed a simple but powerful truth: disability should never define a person's opportunity.

Every day at MDRS we have the privilege of seeing that promise come to life. Through every success story, every new job, every student reaching a goal, every individual gaining greater independence, and every barrier removed, we're reminded that inclusion changes lives.

The ADA laid the foundation. Together, we continue building on it by creating opportunities, expanding access, and empowering Mississippians with disabilities to achieve their goals and live as independently as possible.

Today, we celebrate the progress we've made, the people whose stories inspire us, and the work that still lies ahead.

Happy 36th Anniversary to the Americans with Disabilities Act.
