Dear Parents,

One of the most important truths we can teach our children is that God is sovereign and good, even when life is difficult. As parents, we naturally want to protect our children from disappointment, hurt, and uncertainty. Yet some of the greatest opportunities for spiritual growth come when we walk with them through challenges and point them to the faithfulness of God.

As a family, talk openly about God's faithfulness in both good times and hard times. Share stories of how He has provided, guided, and sustained your family through challenges. When your children see you trusting the Lord in difficult moments, they learn that faith is not just for Sunday mornings—it is for every day of life.

Pray with us: Father, help our family trust You when life is difficult and remember that You are faithful in every season. Strengthen our children's faith and teach them to rely on You more each day. May our home be a place where Your goodness is remembered, Your promises are trusted, and Your name is praised. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Dear Parents,

Serving others as a family helps children see faith in action. Whether through church involvement or simple acts of kindness, service reflects Christ’s love to the world. While it is important for our children to hear about Jesus, it is equally important for them to see what it looks like to follow Him. When children watch their parents serve others with humility, generosity, and joy, they begin to understand that faith is more than something we believe—it is something we live.

Jesus Himself set the example for us, saying, “For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve” (Mark 10:45). Every opportunity to help a neighbor, encourage a friend, serve at church (the Garden has many opportunities!), or meet a practical need becomes a discipleship moment. These experiences teach our children that following Christ means loving God and loving people. As a family, look for simple ways to serve this week and pray that God would use those moments to shape your hearts to be more like Jesus.

Pray with us: Lord, thank You for the example of Jesus, who came to serve rather than be served. Help our family reflect Your love through humble acts of service. Open our eyes to the needs around us and give us willing hearts to serve others with joy. Use these opportunities to help our children grow in their faith and become more like Christ. Amen.

Dear Parents,

Teach your children that God’s Word is trustworthy and true. In a world full of competing voices, shifting values, and endless opinions, Scripture remains the unchanging foundation for faith and life. God’s Word gives wisdom, direction, and hope for every season your family walks through. As you read the Bible together, talk about it in everyday moments. As you model trust in God’s truth, you are helping build a foundation that can stand firm long after childhood. Remind your children often that while the world changes, God’s truth never does. “The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever” (Isaiah 40:8).

Pray with us: Lord, help our family build our lives upon the truth of Your Word. Give us wisdom to discern what is right and courage to follow You faithfully. Teach our children to trust Scripture as their guide and foundation in every season of life. Amen.

Dear Parents,

Help your children understand the importance of repentance. Turning from sin and turning toward God is a lifelong, daily practice for every believer. Model this rhythm in your own walk with Christ. Repentance restores fellowship with God; confession teaches humility and reliance on His grace!

Pray with us: Lord, teach us to confess and turn from sin. Lead our family into repentance and renewal. Amen.

Dear Parents,

God’s mercy is new every morning. Each day is an opportunity to start fresh, both for you and your children. Let grace shape the atmosphere of your home each day, and take joy in each opportunity you have to share God's grace with your children. What a beautiful example of His goodness!

Pray with us: Father, thank You for daily mercy. Help our family walk in grace and forgiveness. Amen.

Dear Parents,

We are so thankful for your family and for the opportunity to care for your children each week in our Preschool and Children’s Ministry.

⚠️ Because we serve with a rotating team of faithful volunteers and leaders, we kindly ask that each week at drop-off, you inform the classroom leaders if your child has any allergies or medical concerns- and ask them to share it will all of the leaders for the day. Even if this information has been shared before, this simple weekly reminder helps ensure that the leaders serving that day are aware and prepared to care for your child safely.

🚫 To help us maintain a safe environment for all children, we ask that no snacks or drinks from home be brought into the classrooms (other than bottles/formula brought into the infant room). If your child has an allergy or specific dietary need, please stop by the check-in desk so we can work with you to provide a safe snack alternative from our resource room. Or, if more specific dietary needs are required, for you to provide an approved / name labeled snack to our team to be distrubuted to your child for the hours that they will be worshipping with us in the garden.

🧃Our usual (and readily available) snack options are Cheerios / Goldfish Crackers / Animal Crackers / Lemonade / Water. Please meet with our front desk team, or call us directly, to discuss your child's allergy/needs and what options we could alternatively provide to include them in our snack time safely for all of our guests.

Thank you for partnering with us and for trusting us with your children. It is truly a joy to serve your family each week!
