Something New Is Coming to Gulfport!

For years, a small and faithful church has stood on Klein Road, serving this community and believing that God still has more ahead.

Now, a new chapter is beginning.

Klein Road Church of God is becoming Waypoint Church.

New name. New vision. Same location. Same city. Same calling: pointing people to Jesus, growing together in faith, and being sent to make a difference.

Our Relaunch Sunday is November 1, 2026, at 11:00 AM, just 63 days away! And before the big day, we’ll gather for our Pre-Launch Gathering on October 18.

But here’s what excites us the most: we’re not simply reopening our doors. We’re building a launch team, and there is room for YOU.
Worship. Hospitality. Kids and Youth. Setup. Prayer. Outreach. And more.

Whether you’ve been part of this church for years, live right down the road, or you’re looking for a place where you can get involved and help build something from the ground up, there is a place for you at Waypoint Church.

Church family, help us reach our community by sharing this post. You never know who may need prayer today. A simple share could help someone see that we are here, and more importantly, that God cares for them. Let’s spread hope, love, and prayer to anyone who needs it.

Last week, we had the opportunity to prepare and deliver meals to people experiencing homelessness in our community. More than providing a meal, we were grateful for the opportunity to spend time with them, pray with them, and remind them that they are seen and loved. 🤍

What began as a family outreach is something we hope to continue growing through Waypoint Church as we look for more ways to serve our community beyond the walls of the church.

If you would like to be part of future outreach efforts by helping prepare meals, donating supplies, serving, or praying with us, we would love to have you join us!

A big thank you to Bradley’s Waterslides & Inflatables of Gulfport for the great service! We rented our water slides from them for our Splashing Back to School event, and they were a huge hit with the kids! 💦

Everything turned out great, and we truly appreciate your help in making our event such a fun day for our community. Highly recommended!
