Wednesday night activities are canceled tonight!

With the incoming storm, we want to give our church family and volunteers plenty of time to prepare their homes and families for the weekend.

As you can see, Pastor Jeff is already taking the assignment seriously.

We’ll continue watching the weather and will share any updates regarding Sunday’s services as we get closer. Take care of yourselves, check on your neighbors, and stay safe!

The October Communion Offering supports our church's Care Ministries: Stephen Ministry, GriefShare, Caring and Sharing, and the Pastoral Care Team.

Stephen Ministry offers a proven and effective way to organize, equip, and supervise a team of congregation members—called Stephen Ministers—to provide high-quality, one-to-one, Christ-centered care to people in the congregation and the community experiencing life difficulties.
GriefShare offers one-time and multi-week meetings to help people heal after the death of a loved one. The upcoming one-time special sessions will be October 18, “Loss of a Spouse,” and November 8, “Surviving the Holidays.” The full 11-week support group will meet January 10, 2027, through March 21, 2027. GriefShare meetings are free for all participants. You can register at griefshare.org for any or all of these group meetings.
GSMC Caring & Sharing serves our congregation with sending cards, providing meals, and supporting in whatever way helps our members and their families.
Pastoral Care Team is an auxiliary team that supports our pastoral staff with hospital and shut-in visits and other needs.

This Sunday October 4th is World Communion Sunday which encourages those of the Christian faith to experience Holy Communion together. Join us for communion this Sunday!
