There are no others like Joseph and Mary.

Angel telling Mary she’s going to give birth to the Son of God. Angel telling Joseph that it’s all good and that Mary didn’t run around on him. (Nothing short of that could convince a man)

Jesus anointing John while still in Mary’s womb and John still in Elizabeth’s. (Hear ye hear ye to the prochoice baby murderers)

The Birth of Christ, then the Magi who journeyed so far with the gifts for a king. Simeons prophetic words. The Prophetess Anna’s words.

Joseph takes Jesus on detours having been warned in dreams.

Herod murdering all the babies that one might be the Christ.

Then these words: “When they had performed everything according to the Law of the Lord, they returned to Galilee, to their own city of Nazareth.”
(Luke 2:39) WHAT?!?!?

Anybody else would have created a glorified side show circus around the Son Of God and called it their calling or ministry.

My friend Robert W. Gardner has a wonderful book titled “God With Us”

You should read it. Robert, ingeniously combines and puts the gospels together Chronologically.

When you journey with him unto Jesus’ birth you will realize that Mary and Joseph knew something.

They knew that the entire world, that all of time, eternity, and all of creation had just changed by what(Who) they were tasked to keep, protect and raise. (I cannot get away from this reality. I don’t want to.)

I live in the gospels(and the book of Jeremiah) but this revelation hit and stuck when I read this that the Holy Spirit has guided Robert to put together.

And I’m only on page 24 😳.

I had waited to start Roberts book until I was through with several books I’m reading now. But every book turns you on to at least 4 more (if you’re a reader, you know what I mean).
After prayer this morning I picked Roberts book up……I’ve decided to lay them aside until
I’m through with this one.

I challenge you to check it out.

It’s not like other books.
“God With Us.”

Indeed, Joseph and Mary had God with them. Please don’t just regurgitate “He’s with me too.”

Get the revelation. You will not be the same. God was literally with them. They did have an agenda or plan for ministry, they had a responsibility.

So do we!

Thank you Robert for being obedient to Christ and putting this work of God together.
