Sunday we covered Genesis 8:20. This shows Noah’s immediate, faith-filled response of grateful worship after God’s deliverance from the flood. He builds an altar and offers burnt offerings from every clean animal and bird—acts of thanksgiving and total devotion, not explicitly commanded here but rooted in God’s prior revelation and Noah’s obedient heart.

This sacrifice foreshadows Christ’s perfect atoning work that fully satisfies justice, secures redemption, and ends the need for animal sacrifices.

We had a productive morning writing notes of encouragement to Childhood Evangelism Fellowship workers in Jamaica. They continue to faithfully minister to the children in Jamaica even in the midst of their recovery from the largest hurricane they've ever known in Jamaica. What a joy it is to be able to participate in God's work in this way!
