Such an interesting point of view - a successful Catholic in the entertainment industry - and very funny comedian, writer & producer, Siobhan's interviews are accessible, highly entertaining but pack a punch. Its so nice to see an SNL alumna speak up for the Catholic faith!
She and Chris Farley would go to mass together, her stories are really fun and insightful.

She has a beautiful play written about the passing of her mother, "Mother's Farewell" scheduled for production at the Athenaeum Center. You can donate towards production costs at https://athenaeumcenter.org/events/2026/mothers-farewell/

In a recent interview with Liz Harrison she talks about the popularity of Catholic talent and projects currently. Watch at https://youtu.be/gaNOqua8VcI

We think this podcast is an excellent resource for EWTN Media Missionaries! She shares her sister's wise advice to stay in her lane, don't try to be a theologian!

You might be intimidated by the idea of being a missionary but Siobhan's advice is similar to Carol who is the Area Coordinator from NY: "You don't have to have a degree in theology. Just share your faith! It could be the bus driver on your way into Manhattan or your local deli guy!"

Trust in God you are exactly where you are supposed to be with each person who comes into your life and as a missionary you have the opportunity to hyful work, can be done on the fly, in any lifestyle or age, and its all free!

✝️ THE MEANING OF EVERY PART OF THE MASS

✝️ The Holy Mass is the greatest prayer of the Catholic Church. Every part of the Mass has a special meaning and helps the faithful come closer to God through worship, prayer, Scripture, and the Eucharist.

✝️ The Introductory Rites prepare our hearts to enter into prayer. We gather as one community, make the Sign of the Cross, ask for forgiveness, and remember that we are standing before God.

✝️ The Liturgy of the Word is the moment when we listen to God’s message through the readings from the Bible, the Psalm, the Gospel, and the homily. It nourishes our faith and guides us in living according to Jesus’ teachings.

✝️ The Profession of Faith allows Catholics to publicly declare their belief in God and the truths of the Christian faith. It reminds us that we belong to a community united by the same faith.

✝️ The Prayer of the Faithful is when we bring the needs of the Church, the world, our families, and those who suffer before God. It teaches us to pray not only for ourselves but also for others.

✝️ The Preparation of the Gifts begins the Eucharistic celebration as bread and w**e are brought to the altar. These gifts represent the offering of our lives and are prepared for the great mystery of the Eucharist.

✝️ The Eucharistic Prayer and Consecration is the heart of the Mass. Through the prayer of the priest and the power of the Holy Spirit, Catholics believe that the bread and w**e become the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ.

✝️ The Lord’s Prayer brings the faithful together in the words that Jesus taught His disciples. It reminds us to seek God’s will, ask for forgiveness, and trust in His daily care.

✝️ The Sign of Peace expresses unity, love, and reconciliation among believers. Before receiving Jesus in Holy Communion, Catholics are reminded to live in peace with one another.

✝️ The Communion Rite is the moment when the faithful receive Jesus in the Holy Eucharist. Catholics believe this is a profound encounter with Christ and the source of spiritual strength.

✝️ The Concluding Rites send us forth with a mission. After experiencing God’s love in the Mass, we are called to bring that love, kindness, and faith into the world.

✝️ Every part of the Mass has a purpose. From the first prayer to the final blessing, the celebration invites us to grow closer to God, deepen our faith, and follow Jesus with a devoted heart.

Great Amen Catholica 🙏🏼

Behind every “rainbow baby” is a storm that came before it — and for Maria Henrie, sharing the birth of her son Peter meant honoring both sides of that journey.

“Hi guys! Maria here,” she wrote, announcing the arrival of their newborn. “David graciously let me take over his phone to write our ‘baby is finally here’ announcement post.”

Henrie, who hosts EWTN Studios’ Seeking Beauty show, just wrote a book with his wife.

Celebrating Peter’s grand arrival, Maria brought humor to a moment years in the making: “Peter Henrie was born September 2nd, taking his own sweet time, a week late, at a whopping 10lbs 4oz. God bless a woman’s pelvis. Truly.”

Behind the joy, however, lies a deep journey of grief, loss and healing.

“Peter is our rainbow baby,” Maria shared. “This topic is very meaningful to me because while we talk a lot about rainbow babies, rarely do we see the actual reality of both sides of that rainbow.”

For the Henrie family, the dark side of that rainbow was losing their daughter Isabel in November 2023 during her second trimester, Maria recounted, due “to a bacteria in severe food poisoning that was literally the most traumatic experience of my life: home alone, kids asleep in the rooms next door, David on a flight. Complete nightmare fuel for the next three years.”

The grief touched the entire household, prompting their older children to pray daily with direct, heartbreaking simplicity “that Peter doesn’t die.”
