Daniel, Beth Moore (Ladies) — Susan Daigle
Can we live with integrity in today's self-absorbed society? The prophet Daniel faced unbelievable pressures to compromise his faith, to live in a hostile culture, and to confront temptations and threats. Daniel stood in his faith showing today's believers they can to. Susan will facilitate this Beth Moore study that will strengthen ladies as they face and overcome today's stress and struggles.

Giving Your Faith Away is simply giving to others what you have. Telling people what Jesus has done for you isn't threatening or argumentative. Steve and Stephen will use God's word and simple tools to help you share your faith in a simple and conversational way.

Yesterday was such a special day as we celebrated the ordination of our 3 new elders.

We are so thankful for these men, their faithful leadership, and their commitment to serving Christ and His church. What a joy to recognize and celebrate the calling God has placed on their lives.

What a great morning at Lamar University! 🙌

Our Youth Pastor, Tyler Pippin, had the opportunity to bring a message to Lamar’s Baptist Student Ministry (BSM) today and spend time connecting with college students.

We were also grateful for the opportunity to provide a free lunch for students and workers! We love seeing opportunities to serve, encourage, and share the hope of Jesus with the next generation.

Pray for the students at Lamar and for the Lord to continue working through BSM!

Join Justin as he leads this study based on C. S. Lewis’s Mere Christianity. Our moral consciousness and moral judgments point us toward the existence of a moral being—God.

The Way of Wisdom — Jen Wilkin (Ladies) — Elisa Bruer
Every day we face the choice between the true riches of God’s instruction or the fool’s gold of earthly pleasures and pursuits. Proverbs helps us discern between God’s instruction of truth and the world’s deception of lies. Elisa will walk with a group of ladies as they discover God’s direction for godly living rather than the world’s folly and destruction.

First Steps with Dr. Joe Worley
If you are considering joining First Baptist Groves and want to know more about FBC, join Pastor Joe as he leads a teaching on Baptist beliefs and church life at FBC Groves. Get to know Pastor Joe personally as he leads this class that is required for membership.(Room 205)

La Iglesia with Pastor Alfredo Ballesta
In Spanish, Pastor Alfredo will lead in a Master Life study titled "Christ in Us." Scripture tells us that when we have Christ in our lives, we are a new creation. This study will help class members realize their new life in Christ and how responses and actions in life should be based on Christ-like behavior.

Forever Love with Charles and Clarice Miller
Clarice and Charles have been facilitating marriage and family classes for 30 years. Using Gary "Making Love Last Forever" as a base and the Bible as the guide, Charles and Clarice will walk through the issues of marriage and help discover "forever love" is a realistic goal for couples.
