Almighty and Ever-Living God,
On this joyful Pentecost Sunday, we thank you for pouring out your Holy Spirit upon us, filling this room with your powerful presence, just as you did for the very first disciples. Fire up our hearts today, Lord, and renew our passion to serve you.
We praise you for the waters of baptism. We thank you for Dylan and Jude, who have been buried with Christ in his death and raised with him to new life. Seal them with your Holy Spirit, keep them in your grace, and guide their steps as they begin this lifelong journey of faith.
We also celebrate the reception of our new members. Thank you for bringing them into this specific community of faith. Together, with diverse gifts but one Spirit, knit our hearts into a unified body. May we encourage one another, bear each other's burdens, and boldly share your love with the world.

As we leave the waters of baptism and the comfort of these pews, send us out by the power of that same Spirit to be your hands and feet. In the holy and vibrant name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
