I'm deeply sorry to hear about the tragic events that unfolded in Butler, Pennsylvania today. As a community, we are all affected by the senseless violence that resulted in the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump, the loss of an innocent bystander, and the injuries sustained by others involved.
In times of darkness and turmoil, it is essential to remember the value of compassion, empathy, and understanding. Our hearts go out to all those impacted by this tragedy, and we offer our thoughts and prayers for healing and peace during this difficult time.
Let us come together as a community to support one another, to show kindness and love in the face of hatred and violence. Let us strive to be beacons of hope and agents of change, spreading positivity and understanding wherever we go.
May we find solace in our faith, in the power of unity, and in the belief that love will always conquer hate. Together, we can work towards a more peaceful and harmonious world, where humanity prevails over politics and where violence is met with compassion and healing.
Please know that our church community is a neutral zone if you need comfort. Let us stand together, united in our shared values of love, peace, and understanding.
With heartfelt condolences and prayers for all those affected by today's tragic events.
