As a man seeking to live out his faith in a world that often challenges and distracts, it is vital to center our lives on the unchanging truth of the Gospel. In this devotional, we will explore three key points that will guide us in our journey as men of God: embracing our identity in Christ, seeking God's will in all things, and walking in obedience and integrity.

Point 1: Embrace Your Identity in Christ

Our identity as men is not defined by societal expectations or personal achievements, but by our relationship with Christ. In 2 Corinthians 5:17, we are reminded that if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. Embracing our identity in Christ means recognizing that we are beloved sons of God, forgiven and redeemed by His grace. This truth empowers us to live confidently, knowing that we are valued and chosen by God.

Point 2: Seek God's Will in All Things

In a world filled with conflicting voices and distractions, it can be challenging to discern God's will for our lives. However, Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us to trust in the Lord with all our hearts and lean not on our own understanding. Seeking God's will in all things requires humility, prayer, and a willingness to surrender our desires to His perfect plan. By aligning our hearts with His purposes, we can experience His guidance and peace in every aspect of our lives.

Point 3: Walk in Obedience and Integrity

As men of God, we are called to live with integrity and obedience to His Word. In Micah 6:8, we are instructed to act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with our God. Walking in obedience and integrity means honoring God in our words, actions, and relationships. It requires us to be men of our word, upholding truth, honesty, and righteousness in all that we do. By walking in obedience and integrity, we reflect the character of Christ to the world around us.

In conclusion, let us strive to embrace our identity in Christ, seek God's will in all things, and walk in obedience and integrity. By living out these principles, we can be men who honor and glorify God, making a lasting impact on those around us for His kingdom.

Good morning Shakers

“I thank my God in all my remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine for you all making my prayer with joy.” — Philippians 1:3–4

Paul writes to the church at Philippi not with correction, but with affection. No rebuke. No sharp warning. Just gratitude. Just joy. Why? Because when he thought of them, he remembered partnership, not friction. Faithfulness, not frustration. Fellowship, not division.

Brothers who endure… leaders who last… churches that thrive… all share one thing: deep, gospel-rooted fellowship. You cannot fake that. You cannot manufacture that. You cannot build ministry on personality and preference and expect joy to follow.

Reach out to one brother in Christ today and tell him you thank God for him. Be specific as to why.

The Power of Small Beginnings

Scripture: “Do not despise the day of small things.” — Zechariah 4:10

Thought: Men routinely overestimate what can happen in a short burst of intensity and underestimate what God can do through slow, steady faithfulness over time. We want dramatic improvement, instant transformation, and large leaps of growth. But the Bible consistently reveals a God who starts big things small.

Creation began with a single word.
A nation began with a single man.
Salvation began in a manger.
The Kingdom began as a mustard seed [Matt. 13:31–32].

God doesn’t rush. He doesn’t panic. He doesn’t need spectacle. He takes His time, because small beginnings force us into trust, and trust is the soil of spiritual formation.

Many men despise the “small” because it feels beneath them. But God uses the “small” to build the faithful: little obediences, tiny steps, quiet, ordinary acts of faith.

These aren’t warm-ups for the real work. They are the real work. When a man learns to value what God values—small obedience—his soul finally becomes fertile ground for long-term growth.

Reflection: Where have I despised “small things” in my life—my unseen obedience, my ordinary responsibilities, my quiet sacrifices?

Call to Action: Choose one small, boring, humble task today, and do it with extraordinary faithfulness and dedication.

Prayer: “Father, teach me to value what You value. Make me faithful in the small so You can trust me with the great. Amen.”

Don't let pride have its way in your life.

"All men make mistakes, but a good man yields when he knows his course is wrong, and repairs the evil. The only crime is pride."

RISE ABOVE THE NOISE!!!

Shakers, God has not destined you to be bound by the noise of this world. You have been elevated with Christ to heavenly realms, transcending fear, confusion, and manipulation. From this elevated position, you receive divine insight and authority. By lifting yourself above the distractions and viewing things through a spiritual lens, you no longer let the storm dictate your actions but instead, you rule over it with grace and strength.

Mark 16:15
He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.”

After Jesus rose from the dead, he gave his disciples this commission: to go and preach the gospel to everyone. As Christians, we’re his disciples too. So this commission is also for us.

Drop a prayer for the men in your life. There's no such thing as too much prayer, encouragement or affirmation. We want all men to be uplifted as leaders, fathers, sons and friends. Drop their names into these Bible verses and pray these scriptures over their lives:

1 Corinthians 15:58
Lord, I pray that ___________
would stand firm. Let nothing move him. Let him always give himself fully to Your work and know that his labor in You is not in vain.

Psalm 121:8
Lord, watch over _________'s coming and
going, both now and forevermore.

Proverbs 4:5
Lord, give ___________ wisdom, give him
understanding, and let him not forget your words or turn away from them.

Genesis 39:2
Lord, be with ________ so he will succeed at
everything he does as he serves in his workplace.
