Hey everyone! Just wanted to let you know about a Christian Tournament Trail that you might not be aware of. The Fishers of Men National Tournament Trail now has a Northeast Oklahoma Divison! All the information you need is in this flyer, along with a contact number for Chuck Bridgewater, the Division Director. The schedule for the year is set, all you have to do is join, pay your entries and FISH!

This is a great opportunity for us here in Northeast Oklahoma. I fished with Fishers of Men many years ago in the Missouri division and enjoyed it greatly. They are a class organization. Feel free to call or text Chuck with any questions, and don’t hesitate to call me anytime if there is anything I can do for you.

Good Afternoon! Here is the announcement you have been waiting for!

The GLAFC Championship will be held Saturday, October 24th on Grand. PLEASE NOTE....there will be no pre-registration leading up to this tournament! The ONLY time to register is at the Pre-tournament meeting that will be Friday evening, October 23rd, at 6:30pm at the Grove Civic Center. (This is the BIG building right beside Arby's) We will provide an awesome meal, and there will be LOTS of incredible draw prizes given away. PLEASE DO NOT MISS THIS MEETING. If you do not attend this meeting, you cannot fish the championship. To qualify for the championship this year, ALL MEMBERS must have fished at least TWO of our regular season tournaments. You do NOT have to fish with the same partner you fished with during the season, but you must fish with another member who has qualified. As always, you may fish by yourself if you choose to.

Good morning GLAFC members. This is a major announcement, please spread the word.

The tournament scheduled for this Saturday, September 12, has been moved to Lake Eucha. The mandatory pre-tournament meeting will be held at the ramp where the Permit office is (by the Hwy 59 Bridge). Meeting will be at 6:00am and we will take off at safe light. Weigh-in will be at 3pm and there will be a 5 fish limit.

Pre-registration locations are the same as always, Honey Creek Outdoors and Grand Lake Sports Center. Last chance registration will be at both locations on Friday evening from 5:00-6:30pm.

The GLAFC family would like to ask for prayers for the family of Ronnie Ware, Sr., one of our members. Ronnie went to be with the Lord this past Sunday. Our hearts our heavy at this time with the loss of one of our own and he will be greatly missed.

Visitation for Ronnie will be this Thursday evening from 6-8pm at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove. Services will be Friday afternoon at 1pm at Delaware Baptist Church.

To the Ware family we offer our deepest sympathies, and we assure you that our prayers are with you. May God give the peace and comfort that only He can give.

The next GLAFC tournament is THIS SATURDAY, August 22nd. Pre-registration can be done any time at Honey Creek Outdoors and Grand Lake Sports Center in Grove. Last chance registration can be done Friday evening from 5:00-6:30 at either of these locations. At 6:30pm Friday, registration will be closed! This will be our last "summer rules" tournament this year, which has a 1:00pm weigh in time and a 3 fish limit. Mandatory pre-tournament meeting will be at 5:45am at the Wolf Creek Ramp! Please don't be late! See you all there!

GLAFC July tournament is THIS SATURDAY, July 25. You can register at Honey Creek Outdoors and Grand Lake Sports Center during the day, and we will be at BOTH locations on Friday evening to register from 5:00-6:30pm. Friday evening at these locations is your LAST CHANCE to enter. Entries are no longer accepted at the ramp on Saturday.

The mandatory pre-tournament meeting is at the Wolf Creek Ramp at 5:30am. Please do not be late. There will be a 3 fish limit and a 1:00pm weigh-in time. If you have any questions please call Ed @ (918) 791-4974.

Big Bass Benefit Tournament for Mike Blevins
Mike is a local guy who never met a stranger and who is “always” willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He recently suffered a very serious eye injury and will be off work for a while. Mike is a hard working family man who loves the outdoors. He fishes the GLAFC Bass Club as well as other tournaments.
We have had other benefit tournaments in the past and Mike has always either participated or sent his money when he couldn’t make it. The tournament will be held Saturday 7-11-15 at the Lake Eucha Bridge from Safe Light to 1:00 PM (Not Responsible for accidents or injuries). You can have as many people in the boat as you can legally and safely fish. The entry fee is $10 / person. We will only weigh 1 live Fish / boat and the heaviest bass will receive a Big Bass Trophy and Bragging rights. The money will go to Mike and his family. We have done these in the past and have always had a good time for a good cause. If you’re like me your going fishing anyways so you might as well donate a little money and be part of a good cause and possibly meet some new friends.

GLAFC Tournament for this Saturday, June 6, has been CANCELED because of high water and safety concerns. Please spread the word. If you have already sent your payment in for this tournament, you may apply it toward another tournament this season. Just let us know how you want it applied.
