Grand Lake Baptist Assembly Campgrounds owned and operated by Northeastern Baptist Association. In 1951 Virginia Painter was the first sponsor to bring GA's to G.L.B.A. G.L.B.A.

We love Jesus and we love putting on camps and events that spread the Gospel and point most importantly to Jesus. Northeastern Baptist Association had a vision in 1949 and they heard God speak about thousands of souls to be saved at a camp ground North East of Grove Ok. These men and women stepped out in Faith in 1950 and purchased 60 acres of land that is now Grand Lake Baptist Assembly. She brou

ght 135 girls and so was the beginning of a great and wonderful ministry! is currently used by well over 150 churches representing nine Baptist Associations from Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Missouri. To this day there has been well over 4,500 people saved and who knows how many others that have been forever changed due to the wonderful experience and ministry G.L.B.A. has to offer! 5 more days until kids camp!!! Every year, kids camp has the “campfire band”, which is comprised of people from area churches. We are so thankful for all of them every year for leading all the students and sponsors in awesome worship. Please pray for the band this year as they prepare to lead in worship.

Only 6 more days until kids camp!! For those who don’t know, this is Jayne Trask. She is the woman who makes kids camp happen every year. She comes up with the theme, writes the theme song, makes the lesson plans, makes up all the skits, organizes everything, and she is just pretty great! Jayne, thank you for all that you do for Grand Lake Baptist Assembly! Thank you for caring about the salvation of all the young ones. We all love and appreciate you. Let’s pray for Jayne this week leading up to camp. The whole week can be overwhelming. And she would ask you to pray for lots of salvations and changed hearts.

Only 9 days until kids camp! Did you know that the teachers at kids camp are all from our local churches??? We are so thankful for churches in our association that are raising up leaders to serve others to reach people with the gospel. Please pray for all the teachers as they study their lesson plans and prepare to teach all these children the good news of Jesus!
