Clarke Baptist Associational News for the month of May!

Look for where God is working and join Him there! Additions to the Clarke Baptist news that came in after publishing: Evergreen Baptist Church/Jackson S***t Shoot scheduled for May 2 was canceled due to weather forcast; Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Thomasville, Al will hold Homecoming on Sunday, May 10, 11 a.m. with potluck lunch to be enjoyed together after the service; Chilton Community's OAK GROVE BC Homecoming will be May 17 at 10:30 (meet in cemetery) before proceeding to the sanctuary. Enjoy lunch after the service and stay for The Glory Road Quartet following lunch; Peniel Baptist Church invites everyone to enjoy a time of fellowship and food at 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 31 and enjoy The Revelators Quartet who will sing and share at 5:00 p.m. REMEMBER to check the DEADLINE in the prior month's newletter in order to get your happenings published for the next month. It's generally the 3rd Monday of the month before.

The State Historical Commission will be at the Clarke Baptist Associational building on Monday, March 30, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. to do a Church Anniversary Workshop. Please let Mrs. Nancy Gill know how many representatives from your church will be coming.

Sunrise Service Sunday, April 5th at 6:30 a.m. with breakfast immediately following in fellowship hall. Sunday School at 10:00 a.m. Morning Worship at 11:00 a.m. No Evening Worship. Happy Easter from the congregation at Union Baptist Church.

Funeral Arrangements for Ann Clarke (Catherine Harrell’s sister-in-law). Visitation will be on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at Henley Cemetery on Henley Cemetery Road in Fulton, AL from 12:00p.m.-1:00 p.m. Graveside Service will be immediately following visitation at 1:00 p.m.
