Dear Sacred Heart and St. John,

I need to share with you that Archbishop Rivituso has decided to appoint me pastor of Little Flower Parish in Mobile effective June 26th. I have treasured these last 10 years with you all and am truly sad to be moving on. However, I am pleased to announce that Father Gabriel Mills who is currently serving as Parochial Vicar at St. Michael’s in Auburn, has been appointed your new pastor. Please be assured of our prayers for you during this time of transition and please keep Father Gabe and myself in yours.

From Linda Boudreaux’s family:

Dear friends, this was a very difficult decision for us to make, but the visitation this evening for our mom has been canceled. We don’t want anyone to risk their safety coming out in the severe weather we are expecting this evening. The funeral is still scheduled for 11:00 tomorrow morning at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. A short visitation will be at 10:00. We hope everyone understands. Please stay safe during the bad weather coming our way. If you know of anyone that was planning to attend tonight, please help spread the word about the change of plans.
