Hope to see you on Sunday at 10 AM! Laurie and I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to Transformation Church’s home on Facebook! We hope you enjoy getting to know us and discovering the heart of this ministry. To begin, I was born and raised in Grove City, Pennsylvania. I was originally ordained through Abba Ministries International out of Slippery Rock (PA) in 2005, and served on
the pastoral staff there for seven years. While more recently attending and serving at Chapel on the Hill in Emlenton (PA), I sought ministry credentials through the Assemblies of God. Laurie grew up in Leominster, Massachusetts. She taught at Parkside Christian Academy in Boston for three years. During this time the Lord deposited in her a passion for the homeless. While teaching, she served the homeless of Boston with Starlight Ministries. Laurie moved to Grove City for a ministry position with Solid Rock Assemblies of God. She served as the children’s pastor there until we were married in April of 2000. Laurie continues to have a passion for the homeless, as well as for the youth of our community. Laurie and I have also served as public school educators for the past 18+ years. We are the blessed parents of three wonderful children. Our ministry focus is intimacy with God. We believe that the number one calling upon every Christian is to be conformed into the likeness of Jesus Christ (Rom. 8:29). Our church family lives for these transformation stories! We believe that it is important to celebrate each time someone has a life changing experience. Every time we share and celebrate these events, others are blessed and encouraged. These testimonies of transformation create an atmosphere of expectation. Other people hear of someone getting saved, healed, delivered from a familiar sin, lack, addiction, depression, or mental illness, and hope rises in their hearts to be touched by God. As their faith in God increases, these experiences are re-created over and over again in the lives of countless others! These miracles start to become the norm rather than the exception. When these testimonies circulate throughout the surrounding communities, people from outside of the church show up with hungry hearts, hoping to experience a touch from this loving God. The order that we hope to establish here at Transformation Church is TRANSFORMATION; CELEBRATION; EXPECTATION; RE-CREATION!
